I just finished "Like A River" and I was so struck and moved with how you guys navigated all this time as a family and as a couple. This grief so often pulls couples apart. I loved how Amber responded with you "okay snoop dog, time for bed" "I'm so sorry you went through that alone" WOW. I just love how you support each other as you grieved together and separately. I can imagine you both sharing the stage and microphone. Thank you for all you share with us.
I love Granger's enthusiasm when reading that second question going "I know, I know" like we used to in school. It's the little things that make us laugh in the midst of hearing God speak through y'all

It goes back to how easy it is to meet new people to replace someone else. People consider it easier to move on and start over with someone else instead of putting in the work to begin with. Relationships meant more when it was hard to meet someone and grow a relationship. We used to have to stand in the living room or kitchen while talking to friends, including anyone we were "dating". I think about the time when people used to write letters to their significant other. In my opinion, it was much harder and required a lot of effort between two people. We usually value the things that we work the hardest for.
Bring back Amber! I watch Arise and absolutely love Amber’s input. ♥️

Yes, we need more time with Amber as a guest, or even a regular program that you do together because you both have great things to say from your individual perspectives. I watch all of your channels, but I would like to have you both respond to a particular subject or question without having to search through everything to find when you each approached the same topic.

I did meet my husband on a dating app and we’ve been married 10 years. Known each other 11 years. We are both completely normal and have a normal life. Christian apps are no different than other dating apps. My husband is now 65 and I’m 62. Our families are happy also.

It may work for some but I’ve encountered nothing but scammers. It’s really disappointing that this is what dating apps have become. Unsafe and very poisonous
I was raised Catholic. My mom committed suicide when I was 10. Shortly after I was in Sunday school and the teacher flat out told me my mom went to Hell. Since then I’ve found myself in a non denominational church and I have found Jesus! I NOW KNOW HIM! In the Catholic Church I never knew him. I didn’t understand much. Now, I have a relationship with HIM and know him and love him and I know in my heart my mom was hurting and abused and God knew her and wouldn’t condemn her to Hell. She wasn’t a bad person. I’m not saying Catholicism is bad or wrong I just know that since seeking another church I’ve found hope and know His love like I never did as a child. ❤🙏🏻
If you have no friends and little to no social connections, it is dangerous to date because you have little to no support emotionally if the relationship goes bad. I know from experience. Build and repair your social & family network first, then date. It will take patience on your end but it is worth it

Grady Nutt (Baptist pastor and comedian) used to say that his vision of heaven was like a bunch of corals for each of the different denominations. Each gets put in their coral when they get to heaven, just to have time to get over the fact that the other denomination actually did make it to heaven. He goes on to give descriptions on the corals makeup. Very funny, too. 😂

this guy i was dating just broke up with me after 7 months says he doesn't want to be tied down is going through some stuff. my heart is so broken over the loss of this relationship it was my first real relationship at 31yrs old. now im back to being single again. the worst part is i am still strugling with losing my mom in 2021 and then he breaks up with me I am struggling

Granger, I am confused by the comment about being friends with lots of girls. In past podcasts you have said that guys and girls cannot be friends. Is that an opinion of yours that has changed? Just curious on the difference of opinion.
You’re right he has said that. Maybe he was meaning one on one platonic friendships are difficult? Also I think he’s mentioned it’s pretty impossible to be in one romantic relationship and have a best friend of the opposite sex at same time.
