As a Christian, I realize that I need to continually grow and evolve into the person,I know Christ wants me to be…
    My New Year’s resolution is…
To not talk about myself, but listen to other people, that need to heard.🙏

Also, Granger, I'm reading through Proverbs right now, and in 2025, I'm seeking the Lord for His wisdom rather than trying to do things on my own knowledge. I don't want to build my kingdom, I want to do what I'm called to do and help build Christ' kingdom.

Thank you for sharing this, Granger. It's always good to be reminded of our Biblical beliefs and hear them affirmed.
As a great-grandmother who doesn't have the opportunities I once did, I try to reach out in some way each day to encourage someone. My life phrase for a number of years has been "Choose Joy." Don't remember if you mentioned thankfulness, but I try to make a short list each day. Even if it was a bummer of a day, there's always something to thank God for. Today, you will be on that list!

My Growth? For years as a Corrections Officer and now as a truck driver I prayed the same prayer. There was a time when King David waited for the wind blow past his army before he proceeded. Like what happened then my prayer was that God go before me. Living on one verse I became malnurished. I began reading God's word in red daily. One sentence became 15 minutes stretching to thirty. Where did Time go? now I'm late for work. Like the Isrealites we need fresh manna.
My prayer life was always telling God how unworthy I was, until I realized he knows I am unworthy now Worship him.
I've been apart of the full spectrum of protestant churches. One side limits God's grace the other side limits God's ability. My salvation helmet came off. (Knowing I'm saved) I came to the conclusion God is Holy and I choose to follow him no matter what happened to me. Jaws dropped when I announced that but it is liberating giving it all to God. Trust is everything.
Rest is like concentrate yourself. If you are spead Thin you are deluted. God has given me my purpose and people in my life to bless.
When I was born again changed everything. I had an earthly corrupted inheritance from my earthly dad. Jesus had no earthly father. His Father is God. When he died for my sins, he left me his inheritance. The way he speaks to his Heavenly Father I now have. I can't explain it to a non-believer? Just that it is deeper than blood in my veins. A spirit relation that has shot me through and opened me up to his truth.

      2 Samuel 5:23-24
so David inquired of the Lord, and he answered, “Do not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. 24 As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move quickly, because that will mean the Lord has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.”

My 2025 growth is to be like my grandbaby. She'll come over and look at what I am watching on tv and look back at me with an inquisitive look like, "gross grandpa, what are you watching."
Me and my wife have made a granddaughter standard around the house. We should come to Christ like a child and we can learn alot about the way we walk by watching them.

I appreciated and wrote down your list. I agree with you about journaling. But I encourage analog and digital journaling. I have an app, My Diary (pink cover), which I used the free version for a year, then paid the lifetime price. But I also use the spiral notebook and paper journals. The spiral notebook is where I write down ANYTHING. It's kind of therapy to write things down, especially things that bug you, but this also gives you the ability to own it, and then let it go. So, those types of things don't end up in my actual journal. I'm also trying Immanuel journaling for the first time this year.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!Ok yes that was kinda clickbait. I need someone familiar with the podcast to try and help me find a particular talk. Yes, I know this is a long shot. Granger once talked about how worry was almost like us not trusting God or not believing in His power. Does anyone remember this? I wish there was a way to search by topics. I truly need this information to help my father who is having severe problems with worry about things he has absolutely no control over. The Serenity Prayer isn’t enough!! Help?!?
