For projection and longevity....Mont Blanc's Individuel!!!!!!!! Absolute beast. Dry down lasts till your next shower....whenever that may be...and sometimes survives that as well. Just amazing stuff.
It depends completely on the fragrance I'm using. With Amen in particular I have no problems with longevity or projection , so chest and back of the neck application is fine. With Pure Malt I may add a couple sprays to my clothing if I expect it to be a long evening.

The bottle i have has a very strong licorice and it lasts well over 24hrs, its always on me the next day, even after a shower or bath, i wear it all year round, i picked up four 50ml bottles for just 10 bucks each. I only get around 4hrs max with Au masculin, its really poor on my skin, very dissapointed with it but love the smell. Quality vid man cheers.
I will always recommend trying before buying. But if you must blind buy based on your enjoyment of Givenchy Pi try Gaultier 2, Le Male, Rochas Man, A-Men or maybe even Burberry Brit. These all have some of the sweet, powdery or vanilla notes in them.

I talked to a (Clarins) rep about this at one of their Saks Event they have every year....and they seem to believe at some point they took allot of the heavy tar note out it. Which might decrease longevity....I'm waiting to see this new Gold Amen whenever it gets to retail and I'll pick it up and let you know my impressions.

I'm not advocating that you learn french, but you should know what consonants are silent or not. I say this because its very frustrating to guess which perfume you're talking about. Perhaps you can have the text appear somewhere on the screen?
I do enjoy the original Pi and Pi Neo...on my list of to-buys. But IMHO the house of Armani is a bit over-priced for the mediocre juice inside(with the exception of the original Armani). Don't get me wrong their frags aren't bad, just not competitive with some of the really great designer houses.

Agreed, my g/f loves Bleu....Allure Homme doesn't give me anywhere near the amount of compliments. Very nice fragrance none the less.

Versace Pour Homme is a sleeper and underrated. It works well in the heat.
I manage in retail for now. But I would ask for a decant of versace PH from sephora and make sure you don't have longevity issues like some.
