Audi S4 034 Motorsports X Pipe Install | BEST Exhaust Mod

- In this video I will be installing the 034 Motorsports X-Pipe on my 2016 Audi S4 3.0t. The X-Pipe will be complimenting the 034 Motorsports Stage 1 Tune, and Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake that is already on the car. Also as you will see, the X-Pipe REALLY wakes the car up, and gives it the volume that it's lacking from the factory. One of the key points you get with this exhaust is the increase in volume, without the rasp of chopping of the muffler, without breaking the bank. The car does NOT have the soft limiter @ 4k rpm's thanks to the tune. That gives me the ability to rev all the way to red line while in neutral, so I can give you all the best representation of this exhaust mod possible. Absolutely it’s just right and for less than 500 bucks you can’t beat it! The ECS one sounds way too raspy to me so it was a no go lol

This is the first video I’ve seen and I love the sound. What intake are you running? I want to do that on my ‘14 s4
I’m running the integrated engineering intake, I think it sounds the best out of them all. Plus it’s not that expensive.
I did mine and was very very underwhelmed with the db upgrade. Flow is better but noise barely increased.
Interesting, I just did the mid pipe and it seems quite a bit louder to me

Do you need 034Motorsport tune to achieve it or can u just run the res delete + cold air intake.
Don’t need the tune for either. But I would highly recommend the tune, really wakes the car up.
Hey man, love the car. I’m looking at getting this on my own S4. Does it drone at all on long trips? I’m wanting a good balance of noise when I want it but not too droney when cruising at highway speed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks man!
What’s up man! No drone at all, you can barely even hear the exhaust with the windows up unless you’re accelerating hard. It’s definitely louder than stock but nothing noticeable while just cruising.

Did you install it yourself? Or pay a shop to? If you paid a shop to, how much did it cost? Thinking about doing this for my B8.5 SQ5.
I took it to a shop, I went to a smaller little muffler shop so I think they only charged me like $70. If you go to a bigger shop they’ll probably charge more. I would recommend though it sounds a lot better than stock.
How you liking it after a month? I've been wondering what this paired with aftermarket resonated "downpipes" would sound like. Also, I love that blue colour!
I still love it, good tone not too raspy or anything. Good amount of noise as well. Not too sure how it’ll sound with down pipes… it might cross over that line of sounding good lol. Thank you! I still don’t think I’ve seen another one with the same blue in person yet.

How does the V8 S5 compare to the V6 S4? Which makes you smile the most?
They definitely both bring a smile but for very different reasons! The S5 gives you the power band and the raw sound of the N/A V8. It’s quick but not the fastest, definitely just a fun car to drive around and enjoy. The S4 is significantly faster/quicker(it is tuned). But you get the amazing supercharger whine and the V6 sounds pretty good as well. Will that being said if say they make me smile equally but for different reasons 🤣 S5 was also my childhood dream car lol
Did you say 2 mufflers 2 resonators and 2 cats? I’m curious bc I’m trying to build one and I dont see the 2 resonators. I see the 2 cats and 2 mufflers I’m new to this so correct me if I’m wrong
Correct. So from factory there’s two mufflers, the center resonator which was removed with the mid pipe, two more resonators on the down pipes and the two cats. If you Google “stock b8 Audi S4 exhaust” there should be some diagrams to show everything!
