my wife is called Sharon and she was in the kitchen cooking breakfast, so I turned the volume up loud when you shouted for Sharon, and my Sharon came LOL, ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO Frank.
I was in that exact mine shaft in the middle of winter about 10 years ago I never went nearly as far as you we had shifty flashlights and the water was frozen so it felt super sketchy Thanks for finishing exploring it for me now that I know it's somewhat safe I would like to go and check it out again in the summer 👍
This is a Big mine damn & full of Equipment a Great find Frank thanks for putting out Awesome videos and sharing your knowledge about these old mines. Thank you Sharon & Frank
Those poor soggy locos, impressive they haven't rusted to bits yet! Some really clear water, too! 70K?! You could build a locomotive for less. Yeah, seems like it was shut down real quick!
Thanks for another great episode Frank and Sharon, this seems like a really extensive mine! I missed the premier (apologies) but it's definitely a thumbs up from me.
Lots to see for sure , great you guys got the key , always helps to get closer ! Going to have to find a dry locomotive to rescue , close to a portal frank , lol !!! 😁💥
Hi Frank & Sharon, that was one awesome mine level both for how far it goes and for the artefacts. A very cool episode, thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Frank I love your video's and thank you and Sharon for all the effort you put into your video's. I hopefully will get to see your mine this summer if thing's get back to normal. I try donate to support your channel when I can. Keep your package dry and be safe.
Loved the drone footage it gives a cool overview and it was surprising to see water towers still standing. It's proved to be quite a sizeable mine. Good that Ron got the water temperature, now we know what you get yourselves into. Having seen where the water mark was on Ron's jeans we understand why Sharon held back. Nice collection of ore carts, crazy that so many were left behind. Thank you Sharon, Frank an Ron. Take care and be safe. 👷🏻♂️⛏👷🏻♀️⛏ ❤️❤️❤️❤
I was just slower getting thru the deep water so never really caught up.....my pics of my solo explore are on EAM FB and Instagram, hope you can check them out 🙂👍
Left the live steam as I realized I've missed a few. Just wanted to chime in and congratulate you on your growth. I truly see you actually pushing the 1plus mil mark within the next few years. Deservingly well. Nobody works as hard. Keep it up man!!!
Strange they sure left alot behind for some odd reason, don't often get the chance to see all the really cool carts and locomotives ! Thanks for the awesome vid !
100 years is a long time, just mining. Nice Intro and Info and drone footage. Break out the Vaseline guys. You guys must be part duck, Aflac, wow, is your skin wrinkled yet. Long ways back. Lots of ore carts too.
It looks like you found another large mine Frank! That ore cart full of ore! That raises a few questions. Looks cool so far. Can't wait to see more! Where's Sharon? Maybe she's having a chat with a friendly packrat!
Haha no rat chats! 🙈 it took me longer to wade thru the waist deep water so never caught up with Frank.......my solo explore pics are on EAM FB and Instagram, hope you enjoy them 👍
@@wingmansharon3196 I'll have the wife look, I don't do the Facebook deal. You are an awesome wingman for Frank and the toughest one hands down!!! As always stay safe out there.
Boy, you sure have it rough up there. All wet most of the time, or rotted out wood, rusty. Down here in California we are spoiled. Mostly dry. I prefer dust masks to getting wet and cold. Thanks for being willing to get wet, muddy and cold so we can see them mines
Thank you very much for this very interesting and informative video presentation which is very much appreciated by the people. One wonders why they left the equipment here. It seems that they were going to continue mining, it certainly does not look as though they intended to leave the mine forever.
@@exploringabandonedmines Get the water going with a 4 inch hose and come back in a day or two, I know a mine in Wa. State like that where the entrance collapse is holding water in and I always wanted to try siphoning it out.
Hmmm. Reminds me of storm surge tides that flooded what is under Santa Cruz, CA. I never learned from what adit the railway was laid underground. I found an open back door. At the rear of a sea cave under West Cliff Drive. Pipe top was awash, slippery, and I heard a seal barking inside. Wading might encounter hungry shark(s). Y'think ?
Are the batteries still in those locomotives? If the owner wants to clean up the land, I'm sure the batteries soaking in all that water aren't helping lol

So nice of you
This mine is pretty massive, cool to see the ore in the carts, all the equipment and the long intersections. Cool stuff guys definitely 👍🍻
Thanks for watching!
A brilliant explore. The anticipation😗 Take care out there.
Glad you enjoyed it
More ropes, more water, more adventure 👍
More to come!
That was a very nice explore and a lot more too see by the looks of it wow.
Looking forward to this one Frank & Sharon. Water surely means less rats for Sharon?
Sometimes if there are compressor lines the use them like a highway!
@@exploringabandonedmines oh that's gotta be better then when they charge at you.
Not really it means you’re knee deep in rat piss! Rats are as happy swimming as running unfortunately.
Looks a pretty extensive mine, can’t believe they left all that equipment there, looking forward to more, thanks guys
You and me both!
Can't wait for part 4
2:57 Frank says “flying down the canyon”, and at the top of the screen check out that dark vehicle flying haha

I don't think that will happen it took 7 years to get to 157,000!
Drove by the mine site many times in the 80's on HWY 3. I didn't know how extensive an operation it was. Thanks for the view!

Whatchya doing with the inflatable raft eh? …… going mine exploring on the mountain!! 👍😜😂
Interesting technique for emptying your boots 🥾 here I thought you’d have to take them off to dump the water out! lol 😂

The dust and heat can be nasty too!
@@exploringabandonedmines , the dust is horrible at times. I try to avoid the heat of summer for sure.
Have you ever tried to Safan out any of the mines?
Siphon? We rented a 2'' pump once ran it all day but the water didn't go down.
A lot of people don't understand the water table.
Yeah it might mean less rats but look at the swim she has to do LOL

whenever we were looked down on for being less than someone else, mom would say "consider the source"
Neat to see the locomotives just sitting there. Too bad you can't just carry one out with you!
Could a good size hose siphon out the water where the locomotive is ?
It would take a long time

5:00 too early. That's when Linda gets off work. She will miss the first part of it.

Could you put a hose in the front of the mine and drain the water 💧 out ?
You could siphon it out but it would take a long time.
@@exploringabandonedmines thanks
Imagine that capital outlay left behind 3 locomotives.
Great drone footage too
Were there any compressed air locomotives in any of those mines. I operated one 50 years ago
We have one in our museum. It has the same Eimco motor as the 12b mucker.
@@exploringabandonedmines the one I ran had cylinders like a steam engine and air tank held 1,000 pounds of air
Are the batteries still in those locomotives? If the owner wants to clean up the land, I'm sure the batteries soaking in all that water aren't helping lol
Yes they are.
@Exploring Abandoned Mines Tisk tisk. Perhaps you could assist in removing those dirty ole things for the owner! ;)
What's up with gly. Haven't seen a video in a while.
He is camping in Arizona
So much waste sad can't say are killing the planet
Why don’t they try recovering some of those locomotives
Or anything for that matter??
The road is all sloughed in now and they have been sitting so long they probably aren't worth much.
@@exploringabandonedmines What a shame so sad to see history like that left to rot away. keep up the good videos!!
Frank, I’ve come to the conclusion that you’re an excellent instructor since Sharron learned to better at this than you. 👍🏻☺️
Wow, thank you!
Frank is sooo out of shape, just old I guess? Is he getting over covid?
Round is a shape...I don't see anyone passing me!
