Nice comparison! Amazon has wonderful wide purse straps in solids, stripes, patterns, etc. They are very nice quality for around $15

Very good comparison video. I have both bags - the MJ mini in red, and the Coach Field 22 in signature ivory leather which is not padded like yours, hence I can't compare exactly with yours. I agree with your points on the whole. I seem to fit most in the Coach, but I tend to carry more or less the same items in both if I swap straight from one to the other. I've had the MJ for longer so have used it more. I wear the MJ with the large logo on the inside next to my body, though actually on the red one it's a little more subtle with a darker red shade for the lettering. I originally wanted a small size (bigger than mini) and I may get one soon, but I'm dithering between leather or canvass. The canvass is overpriced, I think. I looked at a leather one just yesterday in a department store, but it was black and I'm not looking for another black bag. It was beautiful, no doubt about that. Fortunately the MJ comes in some gorgeous colours.
By the way, I sometimes use a Coach guitar strap with the MJ. It's from a Field bucket bag in a mainly burgundy/claret shade. It's not ideal from the colour pov, but is very comfortable till a more suitable one is found.

We’re you able to correct magnet issue on Coach field tote? Have you experienced any color transfer or do you do anything to prevent that from happening with light colored bags (I wear a lot of denim).

I like both style, but it will be good the field tote comes with a zip up closure like MJ tote and rather a magnet snap button for safety purpose.

Great video! I love the look of the Marc Jacobs the tote bag! I carry quite a bit so I’m not sure the mini will work for me. I may need the small. I purchased the mini in morning glory and the color is such a pretty springy pink. I’ll definitely keep it for the color! I also purchased barrier reef in mini and have a small in the same color coming from Farfetch. The color is beautiful! It’ll give me a chance to compare the mini and small.
I had issues with items I received as well. One morning glory mini had a huge rub or scratch across the front. It went back. One barrier reef mini was wrinkled in the bottom left front. It went back. Another barrier reef went back but I can’t remember what the defect was. It’s been quite the saga but I’m like you, I want to get a bag I’m satisfied with.
I was fortunate and got the mini’s for 15% off. The small I ordered from Farfetch was full price but it was the last small in barrier reef.
The rose dust is next on my list but I want to see which size will be my go to.

there are actually a few novelty straps that coach has made in the ivory color trim ...but you have to find them preloved...you could also do a nylon strap like this one with no leather...amzn.to/3EQekEc

@@thehandbaghousewife I know what you mean..i remember back in the day I had one purse and used it daily for years..then I was introduced to dooney and bourke and then coach that is when the obsession started...I would love a louis vuitton..but will not pay full price..have been browsing for one of those bags..interested in two styles.i just purchased a LV keyholder..preloved..I like key holders ..can't wait to get it
