Such a detailed comparison! I agree that for the full price I would never go field tote 22. The Marc jacobs tote for $395 is more worth it at the full price cause it’s full leather and has a zipper. But the Dempsey is a great option. Love that you got that beautiful field tote at a great price!! She’s pretty.
The MJ tote is really giving a lot of brands a run for their money - the price, material, and build is just so fantastic! Though im really considering the Mickey Dempsey tote at the outlet now 🤔😂

You did a really good comparison. I like both bags but I think the handles on the Dempsey are a better design because you can fold them in if you choose to wear the bag crossbody.
I am exactly comparing these 2 bags right now. I just want a nice bag that can carry my iPad and other things everywhere. Field looks like black on screen but I got a glimpse of its actual color and it is beautiful. Anyway, I don’t think 22 will fit my iPad because it is 11.5 inches, I might go for Dempsey CarryAll instead. Edit: You should make it a series, comparing outlet and retail bags IF it will not cost you a lot 🎉😂
The Dempsey carryall is a great size and is very similar to my MJ small tote. I’m eyeing the carryall in the Disney print 😂 Also great idea on a series! That might just happen with my shopping habits 😂
In the last week I found myself browsing both a retail Coach store and an outlet Coach store and there are lots of great styles to be had at both. I can't believe I didn't buy anything though! 😂 I also agree with you about the round patch on the Dempsey. It is a little busy for my taste.

Hmm I’m saddened by the magnetic closure on the field tote because I have the denim black field tote 22 & the magnet is strong on that one. I actually returned another field tote because the magnetic closure wasn’t strong.
@@BVPDX I think it might be all the field totes with the magnetic closure. Cuz I ordered the rexy one in sport red & it was a weak closure. I sold it because of that reason. But my black denim one for some reason has a really strong magnetic closure. It’s weird.
Oh no. I love the field tote. Im 42 so the aesthetic of tne field tote is more mature. The dempsey reminds me of the designs that everyone was running away from coach for. I think they should come back out with more field tote 30s they are the perfect size. The micro totes are always hard to justify
I totally agree - the original Dempsey is a little over branded. Have you seen their newest ones though? Solid colors in a decent leather - they are much more sophisticated!
