- FYI I looked at the lettering on all my totes and there is a lot of variation in letter placement, so if you have a slightly cut off T, or an s thats a little higher or lower, an A thats more centered than another, it appears that that is normal:).

For anyone watching there are some important things you can check for to authenticate your bag. Inside of the main big zipped pocket, on the right side on the inside there’s a small flap with a serial number and it’s in two colors, one is the color of the exterior leather and one side is of the interior color. It’s kind of hard to find but the reps usually don’t have this even the top tier ones. Also on the little leather flap that says full grain leather, there shouldn’t be much distance between “leather” text and the “start” of the flap. All reps I’ve seen have a big distance between “leather” and the bottom of the flap. This lady did a great job and has a great eye I just thought I’d add to those looking 😊

I got a leather tote bag from Poshmark and everything looks real except I’ve noticed the stitched rectangles on the side are 3x5 stitches. It looks like real ones I’m seeing are 4x5?
If it’s a replica it’s crazy how good it is. Even has the little tag on the inside of the pocket. The Marc jacobs on the strap claws (idk what to call them) ,everything .
I think it’s the mini size, or what they now call the small.

I have quite a collection of the MJ Mini Tote Bags. I could tell the first Orchid Haze was a replica, the color was off. You can see the difference in the videos. I can anyway. I have just bought the new caramel, it is GORGEOUS!! And I'm currently waiting on the new Lavender and I found a Chianti on FarFetch. It will bring my total up to 17 😂😬🤦♀

The patch in the back should not have “the” Marc Jacob tote it should only be Marc Jacob. That’s how you can tell it’s authentic.

I just got the lilas color from Neiman Marcus. There's no YKK on the zipper. And I also noticed that the card that says 100% cow leather, the text is all in small caps. Whereas, yours are in big caps. Can you also check the tags? Mine has the black fabric tag that says Made in Vietnam and another white plasticky tag with barcode. However, I saw another video, her bag has a black tag and 2 white tags. I'm confused. I assume Neiman Marcus won't send me a fake one, right? The d rings and the crinkly leather are all the same though.
I wouldn't worry about Neiman at all. Marc Jacobs changes things from time to time, so comparing to my bags wouldn't be like to like necessarily...

I was hesitant, bc I've never ordered a designer bag off amazon before but i am protected, and the seller was brand marc jacobs with all good reviews, i paid retail. I'm glad you have this mini series and this is my 1st marc jacobs bag so this will be helpful. When i purchased it said 30 day money back garentee etc. And warranty... i don't think i have to worry but prime was a huge plus. Should arrive monday so ill refer to your videos.
