I don’t know if I will sell some bags in the future but I use my small bags less and less. After years of buying handbags, I must admit, I am truly a medium size bags person. So for now on, I will leave small bags in the boutiques. Also, I’m a designer bags lover and if I buy contemporary bags, they just sit there for the most part. So no more of these. I really had a list of bags that I wanted and went for it so at this time, I think adding 1-2 bags a year IF I like something should be my max. I’ll try my best! 😂

I am obsessed with DUYP items from watching your videos and the hopeful minimalist has influenced me to order these bags. I too, was terrified (LOL) to wear some of my bags & those went within the last year. My favorite now is LV with so many unique but wearable & not so delicate styles.

I'm the same as you and for everyday use, I need a larger small to medium bag. Ideally one that will fit a small water bottle and compact umbrella. But gotta be honest and say I love mini bags because they are so cute but I dont use those very often. I prefer grained leather, LV canvas and darker colours because they're carefree. Hate varchetta because it is so hard to take care of. If possible, go into the store to try the bag because 1. You can spot any defects and ask for another bag 2. What looks good on someone else might not necessarily look good on me. 3. The finish or colour might not be what you expected. Straps: i love top handle bags but they also have to come with the option to shoulder/crossbody it. Don't buy bags with fixed straps unless you've tried it in store and think the length is perfect for you. I need to do this more but: need to check the returns policy and reviews if buying online especially from a new brand/store. Things I need to work on: declutter, not buy for my fantasy lifestyle, not get obsessed with a brand/type of item and end up overbuying, stop buying slgs (have too many and too lazy to switch them), not get caught up with an unboxing and rushing to buy an item, stop buying black bags (I have too many! 😅😅😅).

My realization is quality over quantity!! ❤ I’m not necessarily a luxury brand girly, I like a good quality bag. I also want to love a small bag but realization I need to much stuff and my daughter/husband is always handing me their stuff to keep in my purse ❤

Great video my realizations and this may be due to the fact I work from home so I don’t go anywhere and I’m on a debt free journey- I used to buy 2-3 handbags a year both contemporary and luxury and over the past few years I’ve cut down to 1 bag or none for the year and clothes never only for my boys and that’s only when it’s a deal- I’m a mini/small bag/crossbody used to use Neverfull when I travelled in office but now I want bags with less things- and honestly I’m just not in love with a lot of new collections from designers or if I have the bag style I’m trying not to duplicate just use what I have…

I guess I realize that I really like bigger bags! I have a few smaller bags that just sit on my shelves, but I’m not going to sell them because every time I sell my bags, I regret it! So I guess I am a collector and use bigger bags more often. 🤪
