  • Welcome to SheerLuxe Middle East's first Saudi podcast, hosted by founder Georgie Coleridge Cole. Today, she's joined by SL ME's Frankie Hilton, tastemaker and brand investor, Lama AlGhraiar, and founder of Cactus District, Zainab Alebrahim to talk life in the capital, personal style and modest fashion - plus, what they’re buying, watching and doing.

As Saudis, we thank you for this beautiful meeting with our girls. We have talented, passionate, and competent girls who want to serve the country, and Mohammed bin Salman has achieved this. Soon, Saudi Arabia will be at the top.

I love these podcasts and hearing about other regions. Oman and Bahrain we rarely hear about, I’m hoping they will feature at some point.

I flew to Saudi last night and can tell you that women in Niqaabs and Hijaabs are the ones at border control and the ones in authoritative positions. Leave your Islamaphobic bias at home 👋🏽

Dear Ms. Coleridge Cole, Saudi Arabia has some of the most misogynistic, oppressive and violent laws against women in the world. I used to follow SL with such enjoyment given your women's empowerment views. I'm afraid I'm now just embarrassed for you. I expected better. Sincerely, LT

I’d encourage you to look into the changes for women that have been implemented in Saudi Arabia. The pace of change there is something we are unlikely to see anywhere else in our lifetime. I have never met so many inspirational, kind and entrepreneurial women in one place!

The Saudi women have always been warriors, heroes. However, when the Prince dies, I fear, so will his reforms. There are MUCH bigger issues, here, than tourism, fashion, and hospitality Ms. Coleridge Cole. Please proceed responsibly with your audience. Respectfully, LT

im in saudi right now, women are working and enjoying their lives fine. Please leave your islamaphobia at home

@@Glitterlove97 Please note: I never ONCE mentioned any religion whatsoever. Therefore, yours is a misplaced assumption. Glad to hear "women are working and enjoying their lives fine." When next asked for international aid of any sort, I will gladly vote against it (because I CAN).
