In this video I walk you through an install of the Super Bee Kill Switch.
Also, remove the red rubber cover off of your old stop button and put it on your new stop button, to keep dirt out of there.

Changing the pull start rope is really easy to do. And with a Traxxas TX with the 2.4, and TQI, the Tx will store up to 30 models when used with the Traxxas Rx. So you won't have to go out and buy a new Tx every time you get a new rig. Just get a Traxxas Rx, and you are good to go. They are really easy to bind, and easy to set up.
I'm using a Traxxas Tx on 4 different trucks, and all 4 are different models from different manufacturers. I just bought a Traxxas Rx and hooked them up.
Had a runaway once, totally sucked. Battery cover popped off remote, batteries tumbled out. It was like in slow motion too. I was like oh look at that, next thing the truck took off full throttle, hit second gear and just plowed straight and square into a concrete wall. Bent the front of the frame up a good 45 degree's, shattered everything that was plastic/factory from the midframe cross bracing forward. Spent probably close to what it cost new on replacement carbon fiber and aluminum. Straightened the frame in a large vise.

hello, recently I have installed a kill super bee, but I see that the led light is in an orange tone similar to red instead of being in blue ... they took models with other colors or perhaps I have something wrong connected. Greetings and I hope you can help me.

I don't know why they simply wont send these vehicles with pre-installed kill switches right from the factory.

Just wondering something. Saw how the wires came close tom the cylinder head. Are the wires heat proof? Or should say the coverings of the wires.

So can you use the bind/ch3 after you bind the reciver/trans of it's a 3 ch receiver?

Cant you just take off the the top shroud, just one screw, you can get to the switch with out removing all the covers

That's exactly what I am doing with mine and it works perfect back and forth between models.

Good video. Thanks for posting it. I like to put a zip tie around the cable and the bottom standoff of the ignition coil, to make sure the cable doesn't get near the spinning flywheel. As shown here. www.killerrc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=586
How much channels is the stock traxxas summit 4 or 5
+audiojunkie 808 transmitter is 4ch the receiver is 5 channel

redcat says all their vehicles come with a failsafe from the factory.
RC Action failsafe only applies the brakes not kill the engine
...... as he clearly stated at the beginning of the Video.
They do, but it requires power to be present and the throttle servo to be functioning. If you lost power, failsafe does nothing. If the servo failed, your engine keeps on going the same rpm. Kill switch allow the engine to be shut off no matter what happens.
