so i have a question when i first got my pc last year i was able to use my ps4 conntroller on it (with the usb cable because my pc doesnt have bluetooth) but after that cord was damaged i got a new cord and now it wont connect to the pc. everytime i connect with the usb cable the yellow bar just comes on and off slowly even after ive reset the controller. plss help

If it doesn’t work try using a different usb cable. Need not be the original one. Worked for me with my headphone charger cable.

How to fix internet? It keeps disconnecting my wifi when I connect it via bluetooth.
Easy way to do it connect a keyboard to your ps4 navigate to settings to bluetooth disconnect controller then try to connect like your using it for the 1st time works for me.

man idk why but after pairing my controller with my laptop...My ps4 button isnt working AT ALL...no light is showing when i press my ps4 controller button but when I connect it with a USB cable the orange light flashes normally....might that be cuz the pc programmed my controller as an xbox controller or smthing? I tried everything and nothng worked...Anyone can help?

my problem is that my controller disconnected from my pc, i try to reconnect it. it doesn't work. i had to reconnect it because my old cable broke. now I have a new one but still doesnt connect. my pc somehow doesnt have bluetooth, ive tried really everything. i dont know what to do.

Yo just saying I connect my ps4 controller to my PC and when I change it back to my ps4 I have to remove it and re connect it to the PC just to switch around

It’s gta 4:lost and damned and also just the base game for me.the controller jitters and what I mean by that it’ll turn off for a second than turn back on the next second so when you use a a anolog stick and that happens the anolog will try its hardest to go to through with the controll and ruin your time I just got used to keyboard and mouse because I am tired of it
ive got an issue, where i cant use my controller again on my pc with wire connection
when it's connected to my ps4 but the dualshock is disconnected from the ps4 in the settings. . even a reset do not work, 2-5-10 sec reset do not work, the controller always links with the ps4 when i press the ps button. and my pc do not detect the controller with the wire. any idea?

If you did all the things and still didn't work what worked for me was I turned Bluetooth on them and then went to device settings with one of my other controllers and then I saw my controller that was trying to pair then I paired it and now it works

If your pressing the reset button and it still doesnt work then press on it hard, press on it firmly and not lightly and it should work

Okay so i reset my controller and plugged it in via USB, with my computer. it did not work so had to try with my other controller. Steam still isnt noticing I have a controller plugged in.
Its often a janky process. You may need to plug and unplug it a few times before it shows up. Ive experimented with running steam as admin, restarting a couple times, etc. The first time that I hooked it up.

I just used a usb cable to connect my ps4 controller to the ps4 and then turn the controller on...that did it for me

Just recently started playing ape and then hyperscape on PC... had a controller that I used perfectly used a cable... then moved computers into a new room and switched to a longer usb cable for the controller and a new controller... then none of my controllers but the new one would work... so bizarre... switching cables back to the original cable worked... long, but thank you, you fixed it!

it's your USB cable. i just spent 2hours looking for a solution and finnaly decieded to chek if i got a beter cable, turns out it was my cable

Very ironic how ive been fighting to connecting it for 5 hours and just as i read ur comment i tried the original wire that comes with the ps4 and it worked.

Try using the original cable that comes with the ps4

I have one issue.I recently connect my dualshock 4 to my pc and now it wont reconnect to the ps4.I tried reseting and pressing the small button but everytime i press the playstation button the pc will recogonize it but not the ps4.When i turn off my pc my dualshock wont turn on is there anyway to fix it?

I factory reset my ps4 and now the controllers won't connect and I can't get passed the 1st setup screen to connect controller. If I go thru remote play would this work? I connected my controller to my pc laptop but the light on the controller is solid white now blue

If you reset your ps4. Then to get your controllers paired again you need to plug them in via the usb that came with it, and press n hold the PlayStation logo button. You may need to hard reset the controller first. To get a simple guide to this process just Google how to pair a new controller

I had the same issue but the trick is to use the cable the ps4 came with an plug the controller back in while Bluetooth is off on your pc/laptop
Ps4 controller pair with PC, working. But unable pair to ps4 console after pair to PC.. Need use USB cable to connect to ps4 and press PS button then controller turn blue light. Don't have other controller, so In device setting Bluetooth only show 1 controller no need to remove it.. Before pair to PC, press PS button can power on ps4 console.
It doesn't actually work for me? I've held it for up to five minutes and it doesn't matter what I do it still wants to pair to the same device. I bought the controller to use on my PC. This sucks
If I compare it to my phone, doesn't matter how long I hold that button it never forgets my phone. To my pc and I Tell my PC to forget it, it doesn't matter how long I hold that button on the back it will always pair to the PC and the PC will then say, unparable device error
