@whatever3749 I always wondered about those power numbers. The NC got new cams and forged internals in 2009 with the NC2, which raised the redline. On debut, the NC1 was advertised at "170hp", which probably means 170PS (167hp). In the rest of the world, they went from the 157 number up to 167 with the NC2 update, but all the manual cars got the same cams, forged internals, and redline increase (automatic cars retained the NC1 cams and 157hp rating). I don't see what makes American NC1s so special that they had more power with the low red line, but gained zero extra power with the new cams. American reviewers even said the NC2 engine had a totally different personality on the top-end compared to the NC1. Personally, I think ALL 2.0L NC1s were 160PS and all manual 2.0L NC2/3 were 170PS.

1:54 what does the term “on rails” mean?
It feels very tight, driving very straight with no wiggle as though it were on rails
It goes where you point it. No tail slide or wobble, and feels very stable and consistent in turns.
means it corners without much oversteer or understeer, ie its like a train on train tracks, it just goes round the corner and follows the line without much drama.
It has a lot of grip and doesn’t break traction
