Mime by V-Mob, Socialite by I.R.A.T.E, Asfixiados by Bushido, What You Say by Skrape, The Ashes Of Memories by Calm, Giving In by Seeded Crown, Not Now by Hospital, Day After Day by Haji’s Kitchen, and Black by Sevendust. I pulled out bands no one has even fucking heard of here (at least I’m the only person I know who knows of these bands, save for Sevendust obviously)
These are definitely some of the heaviest riffs in nu metal. If you haven’t checked out, there are bands from the underground scene of nu metal that have some heavy stuff. Skribble, Chikara, Tribura, Grum, Nothingface, As Ashes Fall, Sunk Loto (check out the song, “Help”), just to name a few.
TALLAH, LET'S GO! They're one of my favorite bands in the scene right now, they're SO brutal. I even own TGoD on vinyl! Telephone, Wendrid, and Too Quick To Greive would've been good picks too!
The video is great, but there are some bands that were left, like Nothingface, Spineshank, American Head Charge, Five Pointe O, I'll Niño, Taproot, Reveille, Unloco, Pleymo, SOAD, Sevendust, Memorrhage, Static-X, Omerta, Post Profit, Ocean Grove, Blood Youth, UnityTX, Coal Chamber, Vein-fm, Profiler, Cheem and Fleshwater.
Oh wow! BloodSimple!!.. Tallah!.. The underground ground metal scene was the besst!!.. yall check out : MEDIA LAB, TAPROOT, ADEMA, UNLOCO, SPINESHANK, COAL CHAMBER plus tons more!
I was expecting at least some of the tracks from The Burning Red appearing here, specially The Blood, The Sweat and The Tears, Silver, Five, Devil with the King's Cards, From This Day or Desire to Fire.
What would YOU say are the HEAVIEST Nu Metal riffs?

My personal favorite Tallah riff has gotta be No One Should Read This. Murder Seed and Stomping Grounds are really good too.
Chevelle is one of the most overlooked bands, but these guys deliver on great songs and mean riffs!
... Sevendust, "Home" ... that rhythm section is 🤌
I was not expecting gored to be here. Fire video bro 🔥

Shoutouts to Skribble, Hospital, Chine and Neck for having some of the heaviest nu metal riffs
Not Now by Hospital is one of the most haunting tracks in the genre
A lot of Skribble love in this comment section
@@jojoplaysmusic Skribble has some good stuff

Surprised you didn’t highlight any Sevendust in this there

Bloodsimple was a nice surpirse. Definitely really heavy.
How in the hell did I forget about Spineshank? Detached is one of my favorite nu metal songs
@@Guts100Slain SS is definitely a Playlist band.
@@x--LeethaL--x Ill Ninio is one too I guess
Nothing underground or metal about any of those bands lmao (except Media Lab and Bloodsimple but still not metal)
Placenta but the album cover is from TGOD, lmao
Yeah I already got corrected on that one lol
Try some punk riffs please bro
No machinehead?
I was expecting at least some of the tracks from The Burning Red appearing here, specially The Blood, The Sweat and The Tears, Silver, Five, Devil with the King's Cards, From This Day or Desire to Fire.
Machin Head is not nu metal. It's groove metal. If you put Machine Head, you gotta put Pantera, Lamb Of God, Sepultura, etc.
@@joaoaugustolandim the music video for from this day disprooves your theory
I have a question, is the song Intoxication by Disturbed considered nu metal?
Probably, yeah
@@jojoplaysmusic Do you consider that song heavy? I don't know, I really like the riff.
