I’ve got the 2017 Superb Sportline 206 here in Oz. I absolutely love it!!! U are dead right about it being a sleeper. I’ve had a guy in a WRX TRY & take me from the lights & shocked the crap out of him. Then a petty little GTi Golf. Bye bye🤭 Then a Hyundai i30N!!! Not a chance. But when u want sedate u have it. 😎👍🏼
George's Channel Yeah its been terrific! I’ve had a FEW cars over the years & honestly each & every time I go for a drive, it still engages me. A very underrated car! I’m definitely not disappointed I picked this over a Passat wagon or anything else!👍🏻
That’s a cracking car Looks unassuming but don’t be fooled it can give as much as some performance saloon cars. Skoda is definitely a brand has got people thinking. A few years ago I thought they wasn’t much to think about Until my mum had a Skoda Fabia 1.2 Petrol hatch back and also a Skoda Fabia estate 1.9 diesel both were very reliable..
mark millyard well said! This is a car that hides its performance rather well. Unassuming, as you say, but then packing one hell of a punch at the traffic lights! Skoda is a fantastic brand. The latest models have style. They have decent equipment levels. And they have VW-Audi Group reliability. And yet they remain one of the cheapest brands in the group. Making these cars potential bargains!
Why would you expect the quality of an Audi ? You need to manage your expectations.

The Skoda Superb Sportline 206TSI has a 6 speed DSG not the 7 speed DSG The Golf R gets.

Why do people compare a Skoda build quality to an Audi ??? It’s not Audi price !!! It’s like compare Lidl’s to Waitrose
