  • The new 2020 Skoda Superb Estate is quite possibly the best 'all things considered' family wagon. With 660 litres of boot space, a strong engine range, competitive pricing, and plenty of technology, it impresses. This Superb is in the high specification of SportLine Plus and is equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine and seven-speed automatic transmission.
Its interior is vast, easily accommodating children and tall adults alike. Quality materials form a functional cabin that in this trim also features a large 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment display. Boot space is 660 litre, or a huge 1,950 with the rear seats folded down.
The 2.0-litre diesel engine produced 187bhp and 400Nm of torque for strong motorway performance. Fuel economy in the real world has been around 50 - 55mpg.

Skoda have some a long way. Would you have a Superb Estate over an SUV?

I bought a Superb Estate in Feb. I dislike SUVs in general. Soulless things.

@@gorebrush did you go for the sportline?if I had my way I'd go full on and get the 272PS estate.that is an phenomenal looking car with all that grunt.

Wait, how are people driving this type of wagon car in Europe and UK? Isn't it too long? And legally, its not too long?

I'd pick an estate every day of the week, over a 5 seat SUV. I love them...this one in particular. Great review

This is an excellent review and the superb sportline estate is one of the best looking cars on the road today.i test drove the petrol 220 bhp just before Xmas (Dec 2020) and can safely say it'll be my next vehicle.such a practical car compared to an SUV where the road's are littered with them.again great review.👍🏻

Excellent review! Handsome looking estate inside and out... I want one. Too bad it doesn't come to SE Asia market :(

I'd definitely consider this car to lug the family about. It really does look like a good and classy car.

It really is fantastic. I’d maybe go for a low trim level for better value for money than the SportLine Plus, but it’s a great car overall.

I've just ordered a Superb Estate L&K 2021 2.0TDI 147kW 4x4 with all possible extras (auxiliary heating, Area View, back seat heating etc.) and still significantly cheaper in comparison to any similar car. Sadly, I have to wait a couple of months longer because of the exclusive color "Nightfire blue".

It would be perfect if they could remove that lever for adaptive cruise control and place those controls on steering wheel.

@@insidelane I have a 2.0tdi dsg configuration. I'm annoyed by the constant gearbox delay. which is always when the accelerator pedal is pressed. I've never had it before having a bmw e60 530d. but it was a ZF torque converter. My skoda has 30k miles on the clock and I already have the problem: "error: workshop only leave vehicle on p position" skoda dealer claims that nothing is happening and if the whole lockdown calms down they will fix it for me. The car is very loud on the highway. The noise comes from the back of the car. I put on 68db ultra-quiet tires, the noise level is much better but the car is still noisy. I'm just considering options to sell a car and buy some Lexus.
