I'm doing what you should have, bro. I just bought a 2016 xds like yours and I'm having the Termignoni exhaust put on first. Your video backs my thinking up. Heheh. Thanks and enjoy!!

I took my frame stickers off and put them in the maintenance book, looks 100% better....
A little heat and a plastic razor blade and patience they come right off!

Man is your name Jess too??? Nice bike btw, man I'm a deployed Vet and just browsing TH-cam videos, recently started looking at this bike. I currently own 2 bikes, a Victory Vegas 8ball, and a Victory Cross Country. Shitty how they stopped making them but I love Victory motorcycles, great bikes. Both are paid off, but I recently been craving something faster, and these started showing up on my feed. At first I didnt really like the look of them, but the more videos I watch the more obsessed I become

Jess nice to meet you man thanks for your service. You have a nice collection of bikes. The more the better lol. But If you want that low end torque that’s extremely fun go with a Xdiavel. Literally every time you twist that throttle you’ll going to be smiling. It’s a sport cruiser. Thanks for your comment. Take care.

@@jesseonamotorcycle My hometown is actually right close by where you're at, I grew up in Yuba City. Went back to visit last year, as well as all up and down California. Kinda miss it, but Colorado is just so much nicer. I dont miss all the ridiculous laws California has though, but thats a different topic. Been thinking about moving to Vegas since I'm a Raiders fan and Vegas has some great riding weather as well. But yea we'll see, I might actually end up getting this bike possibly next year. Only bad things I heard about it was the rear brake goes out, and a few other minor problems. BTW, hows maintenance on it? Is it just an oil change or does it take other fluids as well? Victory bikes just take 1 type of oil for everything, while Harleys take about 3-4 I believe on a standard service.

@@jessstearns4534 So the rear break did go out on me as well. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it for free because of a recall. But even with that i would buy this bike again. The only maintenance that I do is oil changes, they are just as easy as any other motorcycle. I’ll make a video doing one eventually. This bike takes 15W-50 Oil. I buy 300V racing oil. You can get it on Amazon or Revzilla. But this bike is actually very low maintenance so far. I am going to take it in for its 5 year service next year though. They do a lot for example changing out the fluids, break, coolant, oil, etc. they also check everything else with the bike and check for any other recalls and so on. But one thing I can say is if you get this bike you must buy the termi exhaust. That’s a must.

@@jesseonamotorcycle Man that's really good to hear about the dealership fixing that issue, I was always taught to try and use both front and rear brakes at the same time when braking, that way you wear them out evenly and don't always rely on one or the other. I had a really bad habit of always using the front brake when I started riding. This bike sounds pretty amazing though, very low maintenance AND extremely fun to ride, what's not to love? I've also heard the same thing regarding the exhaust, the stock just doesn't cut it, that always seems to be the case with any motorcycle though. Even with Victory motorcycles, the stock exhaust sounds terrible, it resembles a sewing machine, a high pitch whining noise

@@jessstearns4534 you need to hear the termi exhaust in person. Videos don’t do it justice. It sounds so deep in person. You can feel it vibrate the ground. It’s nice.

@@jesseonamotorcycle by the way I've been to Nevada state in 1996 man, the time when Tupac Shakur was shot in Las Vegas. That time I was driving back to LA. Just to let you know I'm from Malaysia, the country so far a way from Vegas. Now I'm 47 and I wish I could visit Vegas again. That time me and my boss drove from LA to Vegas stop by at Barstow one night and continue the journey next day. We stay at Aladdin hotel in Vegas, I think that hotel is no more in Vegas already.. it was long time ago. Now if I can ride my XD from LA to Vegas would be a dream come true. Sorry man just sharing my memories in US during my younger days.
