I am wondering why, where people have asked about the plans for this build, nobody gets a reply. Is this reluctance or just ignorance?
Well, none of this. It is just impossible, because it depends on what size of the blade you have (there are dozens on the market). Instead, I showed step by step how I did it. 1: make wheels 2: put them on the bulk sheet. 3: stretch the blade onto the wheels. So you have your own unique size.

I see it more often than is reasonable... DIYer shows a project that they have put together and some simpleton wants plans...why?... because they are lazy, stupid, totally without skills take your pick. I go for lazy and without skills.
*Worked perfectly right out of the box **MyBest.Tools** a nice compact bench bandsaw, that will work with 1/4 to 1/2 inch blades! First use was a joy, better quality than I expected for the price ! ! !*

Now this one I can build ☺️ I have been looking at so many of the home built band saws and some of them are just too complex to even consider making them but this one I love it it’s portable and light weight and it’s using the 4 wheel option that I don’t need to worry about balance like the larger 2 wheel builds. Thanks for sharing I will have to go to the drawing board and put it to paper so I can make it 🤗

Ohne einen Säulenbohrständer und eine Drehmaschine ist es unmöglich, die Schrauben und die Nester und Wellen der Lager genau herzustellen. Wenn sie jedoch nicht senkrecht stehen oder getroffen werden, funktioniert das Gerät nicht! Es ist eine Lüge, dass er alles im Film mit einer Handbohrmaschine gemacht hat. Ich benutzte einen Tischständer, zentrierte ihn und benutzte Führungslöcher, aber ich konnte immer noch keine genaue Struktur machen. Ich habe es zweimal gemacht, aber es konnte immer noch nicht verwendet werden! Es ist alles Betrug! Es zeigt sich nicht, dass das verwendete Sägeband unscharf und nicht aufgefaltet ist. Denn das scharfe und ungefaltete Sägeband wird an den Schnecken zersplittern. Ich habe den Aufbau ein zweites Mal probiert, weil ich dann durch das aufgefaltete Sägeband eine 1,0 mm tiefe Nut gemacht habe, aber das Gerät funktioniert immer noch nicht. Ich verbrachte einen Monat und viel Geld! MACHEN SIE DIESEN FEHLER NICHT!

Do the blades come in standard length?
May I specify the length and the teeth of the blade?
Might seem like a good idea, but believe me it's not. There is a reason for bandsaw has 2 wheels and larger is better. With these tiny wheels, you will spend a fortune on blades. I did this a few years ago and I had 4 blades broke in 2 days.
we have handheld mini bandsaw's for trimming material's we cant fit through a normal one... bout 6" of useable blade on em.

Why is everybody else so much smarter than me???!!! I love this build. I have limited room in my shop and this is perfect for my shop. It solves the problem of where to get the electric motor to use for the bandsaw. I can see using different sized wheels for larger blades and powering it with larger drills as the need may be. I could resaw an entire oak tree with the right combinations! Okay, maybe not but the flexibility is intoxicating.

Мне очень понравилось! Все просто. Не нужны громоздкие маховики. Но, на мой взгляд, ролики маловаты, т. к. лента постоянно подвергается излому, а радиус роликов маленький и их не 2, а 4. Все это хорошо, но запасайтесь полотнами. Вон мужик выше писал - из расчета два полотна в час.

Cool saw. One comment, you should have cut both sides at once, then you could have drilled through both at once which would have been 4 perfectly aligned holes. Great design, I think I'm going to give this one a try. Thanks!

Easier to make, because you don't need to make big wheels and go through the hassle of balancing them. However, sharper bends means more stress on the blade, which will be more prone to breakage. This is why they don't make many three wheel bandsaws anymore.
It is just for thin blades.

@@tarekbasiouny3752 hey tarek. I have built a bandsaw now. In the end i just took a few pointers from here and kinda went my own way. Not because i felt there was anything wrong with this method just because i had some bits and bobs lying around which saved me alot of effort. I personally dont think you can go wrong following this method here. But dont be affraid to adapt it to your own needs. Just apply some common sense and yourll be fine. Mine works a charm.
