I love how the baby wasn't his until her new boyfriend stepped up then all of a sudden it was HIS baby and he was taking her.

I had a friend whose ex wouldn't let him see his baby son. I told him to stop showing interest in him and she will start throwing the baby at him. And that is exactly what happened. Funny how psychology works with highly manipulative people who use their own children as tools of manipulation to hurt others. I was such baby too. There is no love in such families coz the child is treated as an object.
I mean who wants to take care of a baby even if he or she was his child

Where I live he would still have to fight to get those rights. They weren't married when the baby was born. Even though the dna testing came back he is the father the mother still is the custodial parent.
@@bobbistevens746 he can get visitation if he pays back child support and gets up to date, but he's not going to want to get put on child support. He's going to try to make demands with no rights while claiming he has rights.
When the mother shouted, "That's *OUR* baby," it filled me with utter, absolute terror for that little girl's future. 🙁

I disagree with that statemetnt. Where do we get off thinking that men don't need moral support just women? If a woman showed up with her mother or sister, or father...there is no question of her womanhood. Well, I think that sons just as much as daughters need moral support as well. This man was not being supported by his mother she was speaking for him and over him. If that was happening to a woman it would be wrong just as it is wrong to see it happening to a man.

The Mama and the Mama boy don't deserve to have this truthful and honest lady in their life. She had a confidence in herself and was not afraid to state the fact that she slept on the same bed with her father in law but never messed up with him. The judge doubted the young lady's statement but both the lie detector and the DNA test proofed the young lady truthful. The young lady deserved an apology from the Judge and the two id1ots in the other podium.

TK Morrison She shares a bed with them at different times. Meaning yes they all have used that bed but not at the same time. Someone could use it in the morning and someone else could use it through the night. Not all people can afford to have different beds to sleep on and it’s pretty common for people to use the same bed at different times without being in a relationship.

Why is everyone so “disgusted” that they shared a bed? Did they miss the part that it wasn’t at the same time? They were trying to explain this, and the fact that they all worked their respective shifts around making sure the child always had someone there to care for her, but no one could hear any of it due to the audience oohing and ahhing, and Mr. Belding and his mother over talking them. The mother needs to take several seats. It would be very easy to fall on financial hard times that caused you to have to take turns sleeping in a bed. It’s called necessity, not disgusting.

Too many people nowadays don't remember when this was a normal thing. Even as recently as the 1950s, folk were bundling multiple kids in a bed because they couldn't afford more than one. This is not a new concept.
In the 80's I shared a full bed with my two sisters and if company was over it was mom and us three girls. Our brother had his own bed because he was the only boy. It wasn't until I was in high school I got my own room and my own bed.
I don't really see what the big deal was.

This episode is the reason why I’ll stop watching this judge’s series. She ganged up on Amber too. Im a screen away and I could hear they worked different shifts and used the same bed, not sleeping together in the same bed. That mother/ son duo is horrible. Exactly I shared a bed with 4 woman on 2 different shifts we got drafted due to a snow storm and couldn't afford room by ourselves my BFF and I worked nightshift and we left and 2 nurses dayshift went to sleep this was for 2 days

First time I've ever been upset at judge lake for treating this girl like she did something wrong. Judge lake should have commended her for her behavior instead of acting like it was dirty. She said they never stayed in the same bed that they were on different shifts, just because they were sleeping in the same bed does not mean anything.

Right?! Try living in NYC on a college kid’s budget. My bestie shared a pull-out bunk bed (IKEA has made them popular now but they existed way before then) and a couch in a studio apartment for two years! The alternating time schedule is the only thing that made it bearable!

This was the first case where I have been disappointed in the judge. This grandmother (a term I use loosely) is a real piece of work. The level of disgust I had for the way she demeans everyone and everything is unbelievable. She is a bitter woman. The son better be careful or he will end up alone and bitter just like his miserable and jealous mother.
The judge disappointed me in this case. His dad just said they all worked different shifts so that there was always someone there with the baby. He stepped in and was grandpa and helped out with Jordan. The judge let her own reservations steer her interpretation of what was actually happening.

This beautiful young woman with a big heart was made to feel like nothing because she was kind to someone. That is her daughter’s grandfather and they took turns. They did not share a bed in the way that one should be disgusted.

As much as I respect the judge, it angers me that she's too rich to understand that some people don't have beds and its absolutely fine to share a bed in different times or at the same time. My parents let my uncle sleep on their bed during the day when he came from his night shift and they'll sleep on it at night. Also, our cousins slept on the floor/in our beds depending on who went to sleep first for some time when they came to visit. When they're people you trust and consider as family, and when you don't have enough money or don't want them to pay $250 a night to sleep somewhere, you do what you gotta do.

The judge wasn't listening and I am disappointed .When she said she slept in the same bed with her 'dad' she mentioned that when he was at work or awake she would sleep in the bed alone and when she was at work and awake he would sleep in the bed alone. They were taking shifts on looking after the little one and sleeping and working. It happens in some countries all the time

The judge and the ex boyfriend really kind of rubbed me the wrong way on this episode. They don’t understand what it’s like to not have your own bed. Not everyone is privileged enough to have their own bedroom and bed. She kept saying how they never slept in the same bed at the same time and it just went in one ear and out the other with the judge and the ex. They never laid down together. So before you call someone’s living situation disgusting think about what you would do if you were in their shoes. Like how hard is it to listen without interrupting. The girl made it very well known that they worked different shifts and slept during different times of the day.

I agree. It's not disgusting at all if people are clothes and not touching. I think it shows a distinct level of kindness and compassion from the girl who shared her bed, since that was probably all she had to share financially, with someone who isn't blood related but still feels like a part of her family.

Don't get me wrong, if what they're saying is right they're not sleeping in the bed at the same time, so maybe nothing is going on, but even doing that creates serious suspicion. So don't. Take the couch or the floor.

They didn’t establish if this place they moved to and started sharing the bed in was a house or apartment or trailer or whatever. The dad doesn’t seem to have a family member that likes him. Maybe he’s manipulative. He may be pretending to have health problems to guilt her into letting him sleep in the bed when she’s not around instead of on the floor. Or he may actually have health problems that could be preventing him from sleeping on the floor or even working. It’s very clear these people are dirt poor and very dysfunctional.

Judge if you are reading this let me tell you that I am very disappointed in how you behaved in this court. I loved your show but today you allowed the son’s mother to disrespect a young lady with words and accusations. The young lady sounded genuine and the mom sounds like a drug user and an alcoholic. And the lie detector and DNA test proved it. You can do better in your future shows hopefully. Also you didn’t even try to see the future for the baby.. you just let that mom get in the way and poison the relationship more. So disappointing!
