Chef AJ, I woke this morning at 5:30. I couldn’t get back to sleep. I started listening to your podcast with Dr Simran. I was diagnosed with cancer breast cancer October 1 of 2024. Dr. Simran spoke to me the entire podcast. I felt I have gained a new friend and someone I will listen to again and again and again. You and she are a blessing to us all.

Look at the maturity of this woman and how well she speaks. I wish more people were like this out there. I live in a big city and ride public transportation. Enough said.

When I worked night shift as a RN in San Francisco in a private hospital (no longer private), we sometimes let the husbands come up to visit post-op. These men all worked days and evenings... It was beautiful to see these men who really loved their wives come in their work clothes and just sit there with them. NOW - do not forget WHAT was done to all of us during the lockdowns - a lot of lies and inhumane treatment. That her husband could not come in - grrrr.

Thank you Dr. Malhotra and Chef AJ. A " conciërge" for every cancer patient would be good ,- depending on their particular abilities and independence. We have such a person attached to the department where my friend saw specialists for her brain tumour, but I saw both that person and her specialist mock her, yes really, when she read in an online report that the cancer was also in her bones, and she called it "bone cancer". The point she was trying to make - that she would have preferred that information to have been shared in person at said sappointment, since she had found it so distressing and had questions about it that were important to her, was ignored in the mockery and actual smirking, of " that's NOT bone cancer!" . Always take a friend/ confidante with to appointments!

You are a very inspiring guest! Thank you Chef AJ.
However, I still feel the medical/ hospital error that happened to you due to them giving you too many blood thinners causing large hematomas after surgery is terrible!!
Medical errors are the 3rd leading cause of death in our country- if not more including disability. Urg!!!
    So glad you survived!! ❤️‍🩹💪🏼💟🙏
