Nice report. Thank you. Lufthansa used to offer a seat and a bed in first class on its previous 747-400s. The latter were not being retrofitted with the most up-to-date onboard product so for a while Lufthansa's first class featured a seat plus a bed (on the 747's upper deck).
@@flyjfk I am telling the truth here ! It was only in the last couple of years that the 747-400s remained in service. There was so much interest in this Lufthansa product at that time.
I hope next year to experience. Last time I booked SQ but in Business class had to chancel as my chemo started on the day I was due to fly. Oh well if it is going to happen it will and all the better for waiting for 😀🙏🤞
May I ask the cost please & do they have suites for a couple. I give it to you, My God you like your Grog & Tucker. John Mac from Down Under ha! ha! Thoroughly enjoyed -Take Care
1) The bedsheet was not tucked in for the most part. Just draped over. 2) From what I gather, the service was mechanical/robotic. Not organic or natural. This has been my experience on SQ too. 3) The tomatoes were visibly bruised. Such appearance is not acceptable on a first class plate. 4) The stains on the amenity kit are mold because "leather" was enclosed in a non-breathable plastic bag in hot and humid Singapore. 5) The menu in The Private Room was torn and font did not match in-flight menus.
@@flyjfk Thanks for sharing your experience. I personally think it is because service is a duty not a delight to SQ staff. Incentives are geared towards punishment not rewards for good service. For those who think #5 is a bit too negative of a criticism. Emirates maintains its font across all lounges, signage internationally, paper and digital menus, IFEs, website, and a plethora of all other media.
You must be fun at parties! What a snob! I have flown suites on numerous occasions, and I can tell you it is a darn site better than economy on South China Airlines. People like you take the joy out of doing something special.
I would save some $ and fly SQ first class in the 777. Same food. Less detached feeling locked in a little room and a wider softer bed. Great review. Thank you
You played with that seat like a little kid! I love it. I'd do the same thing! Thanks for the fun video!

Wow I did not know that! Wish I got a chance to experience it!

How friendly do you want it to be?😁🍷👍

The wait will be worth it :) good luck, and wishing you a very speedy recovery!

Suites for couples is a yes. 1 and 2A as well as 1 and 2K.
Excellent 👍🏻😊👍🏻
SLOW DOWN the panning.
how much for the ticket my friend
I want to see a detailed review on the longest flight in the world on Airbus A380 Emirates from Dubai to Auckland
In the future I want to know what SIA modern 777-9 with the folded wings looks like on first class 🤔

Great observations! I agree with all of them, “robotic” is the best way to describe their service

Much better service on your G6 I presume 😂😂??

Not fair i am flying to London via Dubai in business class for Christmas 😢
Never compare yourself to others. Especially people on social media
Nice video, nice flight!
Let’s sing a song in SingApore 🇸🇬!

Would love to try their 777 F too! I’ll put it in my “to fly” list :)
The 777 sucks, you feel every bit of turbulence, the A380 is such a smooth flight.

120 sec after
Emirates Melbourne to Dubai first class
Emirates first is pretty nice too!
@@flyjfk I meant to say business class on Emirates
Of late SQ’s catering has been declining in standard. In economy class it’s actually pathetic.
Agreed!
All airline standards have dropped somewhat since the pandemic.
I prefer Emirates. SQ used to be good but no competitor to Emirates, Qatar or Etihad these days.
why didnt take shower on the plane
Ah chong mati
The menu is lackluster, far behind the peers.
