Lufthansa A380 First Class - First Flight After 3 years from Munich to Boston

- I took this very special flight on Lufthansa A380 from Munich to Boston. Lufthansa has just reactivated the A380s and the very first flight was from Munich to Boston on June 1st, 2023. The entire Lufthansa crew seemed to be very excited to welcome this aircraft back to service. There were celebrations at the gate, and the service in the air was fantastic.
What I love about Lufthansa First Class is that it is always consistent and reliable. While the seats don't offer that much privacy, the bed is one of the most comfortable ones in the air. The food was delicious and the service is always great. This flight being the re-inaugural flight made everything just more special.
I'm so happy to see A380 come back from retirement. It's my favorite plane and it's always a pleasure to fly with it especially when the first class is also top notch.

I've flown the A380 twice, one time in economy another in premium economy, and it was nice.

Don't know why everyone was thinking a380 was never coming back because there were no other plane that can carrie so many people until then welcome back A380
It only came back (temporarily) to LH because of delays to the 777-9 and 350

The 3 window First /business class seat is very nice to see on Lufthansa,No US carriers has it anymore..last airline i flew that had it was Continental,from Houston to Maui..Best flight in my life and i have been flying for over 50 years,been around the world twice...They fed us until had to tell them stop and the drink carts was left for self service with full bottles of alcohol...They also had the ice cream sundae cart with over 15 toppings,and gave you a roast beef hoagie to take with you when leaving the plane...Meals were prepared by Roy Yamaguchi....with seafood dishes included...

I flew FRA-DEL in Business class A380 6 years ago and was one of the best...They were pouring a South African Chocolate Block,and drank over two bottles,one of the most delicious wines i have ever had..I hope Lufthansa keep up their service,because on some routes from The USA,the service and quality of food and drinks has dropped..
Glad airlines are bringing them back I the skies where they belong
REALY SURPRISED to see Airbus A-340 planes still being flown
They only are on LH because of delays in new aircraft deliveries. Just like the 380

I like how the Lufthansa A380 has a urinal in the First Class lavatory. It's useful after all that champagne, wine and beer!

Too funny watching this video as boarding at gate 26 had just started for Charlotte NC when the 380 was taxied into position on that day. I took some pictures. 15 minutes later we left for the US. It would have been cool to be on a 380 instead 🙂

If I'm paying to fly 1st Class, I want to have 1st Class accommodations. That means a lot more than minimal privacy offered by these seats. The background music made no sense given the flight was a German airline. The orange descriptions seemed to get lost in the video.
It is a really great video, can't agree to your opinion as doubter.
Which is why, Lufthansa is on its way to make fully floor to ceiling closable First Class Suits, and also some fully closable Business Class Suits. I do have to say they are really late on that, but they are expecting to get fully started at the end of 2023 and the start of 2024.

Cool video. Was the flight full? I am seeing now a departure from MUC only every other day. I think it would work better from FRA.

That's rough for a first class hard product. Many international carriers have better business class mini-suites these days.

The service, the people, the atmosphere - honestly, there's nothing like it in the air. And I've flown Emirates, Qatar and Singapore. Lufthansa First is the best. I was lucky to fly it 5 times last year. Grateful.
For some reason, even with no privacy, Lufthansa First feels special. I think the cabin is very beautiful and when it’s coupled with great service, it becomes top notch 😊
This First Class with only 8 seats is one of the most spacious arrangements in the world.
The "tricksters" of one Sheikh Airline squeeze in *14* seats on nearly the same floor space.

What is with Chapters? Just go Check-in, Lounge,Boarding, much simpler.
Could not read the menus. For a large menus slow pan down. Smaller menus, just a freeze frame.
Food, you descibed the second meal, mini burgers, fresh fruit and berries. Main meal you showed caviar and captioned, but not the rest.
Consistency is important.
I am only posting this to help, not to criticise as I enjoyed the content. Just don't over produce.
Lufthansa should not serve caviar without a non metal spoon, as metal taints the taste of the caviar.
Singapore Airlines and Emirates supply a mother of pearl spoon.

That has to be the worst first class seats ive ever seen. Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Singapore are far better than this!!!
