Thanx Liz for encouraging people to self diagnose and diagnose their children as well so they can totally change their lifestyles, feel special and enrich the Gluten Free industry.
I think the best gluten free food out there is found on Fahlstrom Farms Gluten Free. It is SO moist and delicious! No dry, gritty, bad aftertaste with their foods. Pancakes are light and fluffy and they have wonderful garlic cheese biscuits. Their pizza crust is to die for - even makes great bread sticks or fruit pizza crust. Cakes and brownies can't be beat. Try them!
@FrugalandLazyCook I agree with bes508. Also it's become popular because it was seen as another "loose weight quick" kind of thing, at least that's what I saw making it blow up a bit. I could be wrong.
Gluten has plagued me and ever since I cut it out in 2008, my life changed for the best! Joint pain, depression, anxiety, loose stools all gone! I’ve dedicated my channel to sharing gluten free recipes complete with macros and nutritional info! Hope my channel helps someone!
@FrugalandLazyCook It's because there's more awareness now and doctors are starting to test for it more and more, because 20 years ago they thought it was a childhood disease that one could "grow out" of. This is incorrect, as we know now, as it's a lifelong autoimmune disorder. Additionally, the gluten content in today's wheat/modern bread has risen to alarming levels and so people are being exposed to far greater amounts than in the past.
Corn is bad in general. And as for those gluten free 'kettle' chips, they're made with conala oil which is one of the worst types of oil you can put in your system. XP A dietof pesticide/herbicide-free fruit & Veggies and hormone/antibiotic-free meats plus distilled water with no fluoride or chlorine is the way to fly. Grains, legumes, dairy, white sugar and all of that other tastey processed crap = Inflimation. ;)
I'm allergic to gliadin, found in gluten grains. I've been thinking, you know, I don't think our ancestors had a problem with gluten. I don't think gluten is truly the problem, I think it's the form it is in now, with the GMOs changing the foods into something our body can not tolerate. It's the GMOs that got to go, got to be outlawed. Wheat today is not the wheat that our ancestors ate. And if they keep using GMOs in our foods, pretty soon we will be allergic to it all! Outlaw GMOs.

Sometimes you have to because a lot of doctors are useless.
