Well done!
Great video. How did you identify D- from D+?
Thanks. I looked up the diagram to figure out which pins are which on the USB-C board
May I ask what type of "fat" you are using for soldering?
I use MG Chemicals 8341 flux paste, it's very good and comes with a proper syringe+needle. AMTech is also very good but unless you're getting it from a known store, it could be a fake one.
@UNgineering Thank you for the info! 👍😄
hello sir, @ 3:01, what is that 1015 device? what does it do? TIA.☺️
that's a 5101 (5.1k) resistor, just upside down. it's used to get 5V on USB-C. you can watch my video #9 and #12 for details.
nice
resistor between which pins? 5k1 or 54k? thx
You add 5.1k pulldown resistors on CC1 and on CC2 lines. th-cam.com/video/_ZPFp-FdBVY/w-d-xo.html
Nice
can't we use 6pin type c ?
if you have a connector with pins that line up exactly, you definitely can.
@@UNgineering are you sure? coz 6 pin doesn't have d+ and d-
@@boopeshkumarprabhakaran that's why i said if you have one where pins line up exactly. i haven't found one.
Yah, yeah, sure dude, of course, no need to explain that 5k resistor on usb. Why would someone need an explanation of it, right?
I did 3 videos on it
