This may not be a popular game...and it may not be one that people want to watch a video about...but I loved this game as a kid. I hope this video will make you want to give it a shot sometime!
I was... very young (Roughly 4 or 5 years old) when one of my cousins came over with a copy of Duck Dodgers on the N64. I watched him play the game but I never asked my parents to grab it for me since a local Blockbuster did have a copy of it. I would rediscover the game years later in 2014 that I finally asked my parent to grab the game from Ebay and they finally did, it was well worth it since the N64 was my early childhood console.
Firstly, I totally miss being able to go rent video games. That experience helped shape my childhood. My favorite place to go in my town was Video Biz. Secondly, omg this game! This is one I remember playing now that I’ve seen it, but forgot otherwise bc it was so long ago! Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Great vid! Kicking off 2025 with a bang! Keep it up and let’s go!!!
Good video! Man, I can't believe I missed out on this game when I was a kid. I absolutely _loved_ 3D platformers and played a lot of them on the N64: Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, Chameleon Twist, Gex Enter the Gecko, Kirby 64, Bomberman Hero, and Rayman 2. Duck Dodgers looks like a good one, too! I'm also a huge Looney Tunes fan, so might have to check this one out! I'll add it to my list of other N64 3D platformers I missed as a kid alongside games like Rocket Robot on Wheels and Glover.
Great video! Definitely playing soon so this video just hyped me up. Love hearing your childhood gaming stories, Hollywood Video will forever be missed... nothing like renting games and movies after school on a Friday for a long weekend
My guy, you've piqued my interest. My N64 days were as much loaded with Banjo Kazooie and Tooie as anyone's, to the point that platformers actually became a lowkey favorite of mine, even as I matured into the Gamecube and PS2. These days, I have a newfound love of platformers in general, to the point I go out looking for the older ones just like this. I'll definitely be giving this one a look.
@@PurpleSanz well obviously an episode of looney tunes. idk if I’ve ever seen it. I didn’t watch it that often growing up. I’m 30 if it means anything 🤣
I’d also recommend the Ralph wolf Sam sheep dog game that was on the ps1. I don’t remember the exact name but i remember it as a solid 3D puzzle platformer
I remember briefly playing a Wile E Coyote stealth game about smuggling sheep with a tiptoe mechanic. I wonder if this was built on the same engine, otherwise it seems a bit odd. N64 games did often have odd inclusions, though.
Wow it clearly looks like a very well done game who the developers know it beforehand the source material that was working on it. I mean the reference of the weird Daffy's draw at 5:08 is something that the fans will get it (by the way is a reference to an old Merrie Melodies episode from 1953 called: "Duck Amuck" in which Daffy fights the entire episode against the animator artist who is making the episode). Without any doubt I shall play this game in an emulator someday, but still it would be nice if Warner Bros instead of waste money developing AAA flops, better invest the money in a competent developer and port their old games to modern consoles.
Not a bad episode, I Don't find anything overly outstanding with your one thing I've watched, but I didn't see anything that would make me hit ignore on your channel either, If I Saw something from you pop across my feed, yeah, i'd watch it. I never heard of this game and I owned lots for the N64, I'll have to try it out. Sounds like a good pairing with "Gex" if you want a wacky zany game.
Umm if this is the only thing you’ve watched of mine it isn’t representative of my content as a whole I just wanted to make it. These type of videos are what I’d call “simple edits”. This is an extra on top of my normal content. I highly recommend you watch something like my Mysteries videos or an Overthinking it episode. But thanks!
Was one of the first N64 games I owned. The game is a bit clunky, not the buttersmooth gameplay like in Mario 64 or Banjo. But the artstyle and music are top.
@@BansheeNT-D like I said in the beginning I think it holds a dimly lit candle to those games. A lot of cool elements. Not quite as smooth but it’s solid and has heart.
IT'S LIKE ANOTHER ONE OF MY FAVORITE 3D COLLECTATHON PLATFORMERS ON N64, Rocket Robot on Wheels... That game is FANTASTIC and it's the first game by SuckerPunch (Sly, Infamous, Ghost of Tsushima)! I got lucky yet again and bought that in my teen years and now it's super expensive... The only hope now is either NSO which I doubt, or a remaster which is also a long shot but considering things like Gex and Croc have been getting this treatment I want to believe someone wants this game 🥺 anyway rambling 😅
I'm really sorry... I can't look at half of these levels without thinking "This artstyle looks exactly like 'Bubsy 3D'". I'm sure the gameplay is a lot better though!!!

The flower head transformation is a nod to one of Daffy Duck’s Animation vs. Creator episodes Duck Amuck.
Ahhh I’m sure there is a lot of that.
Which can actually be watched in FULL on TH-cam!
Well done thiffio
@@greendaleforever word!!
I remember renting this sucker at Blockbuster back when it first came out. The voices were still top notch to this day.
