The majority of this video is based on the amazing performance Hitch gave at the Hay Festival in 2003, which unfortunately is available audio only on youtube. I have layered on top of the audio images and video clips, as well as integrating the best of his other comedic performances, to create a watchable version for viewers. Enjoy!

The Irish stereotype, what would Brit comedy be without it. Apart from that. not bad, but would be better without a tired; past its prime stereotype. I have experienced some Catskills comedians, some bombed, some gross, not many with talent. Going there for Thanksgiving not a good idea. At our table a couple, not with their spouses, and a naif girl with a seriously toxic woman: a real bomb thrower. Add to that turkey, the texture of rubber and you get the idea, not an ideal getaway.

If Hitchens deprived truthful writ to a career as a comedian we would have been deprived amazing pieces, but all our jaws would forever be sore from the laughter.
