I made a no dodge to diamond series, wasn't super awful for me once I locked in Wu Shang. Might be a fun thing for you to try out if you need ideas and haven't tried it before. =)
I don’t think many players use MOUSE + keyboard, but anyways it’s kind of simpler. Right click typically is heavy attack Left click is typical light attack
As an fps player, after playing a bit with only keyboard commands, i istantly found more comfortable the wasd + mouse controls as i tried them, and i've never came back from it
I think another option that is really good on weapons that either have a low hitting light attack or a good dair is dash jump. Taking sword for example, doing nlight-dash jump puts you right above the opponent in a spot they can't really retaliate easily. While there, you can easily threaten a gc dlight, either as a reaction to what they do or as a read. You can also go for a dair which, while not as rewarding, let's you keep your momentum and go past the opponent, making a punish harder (although you do give up stage position). Or you can do an immediate sair to call out a jump and push them farther offstage. You can even dash jump then immediately do an empty jump to call out any wakeup attempts.
I think this was a good opening guide for players Your next guide should be about conditioning. What I mean by that is forcing your opponent to switch up their options by constantly checking them. Example: My opponent likes to jump EVERY time after throwing Nlight on sword so it’s the player’s responsibility to capitalize on this by reading that jump and “conditioning” them to stop by hitting them for it.
This guide is definitely more advanced than conditioning IMO, also I think conditioning kinda comes with pressuring your opponent, which he has an old guide on
So good bro. Genuinely the most underrated pro for 0 reason. Mfs love to exclude sting ray when he has such a good actual understanding of the game. I could actually say so much but ima keep it short n sweet stop sleeping on STING RAY.
Also for guides I think if it’s possible to make a vid out of consistency that would be sick. I think good ideas for TH-cam vids would be like explaining patches and meta as it seems you have a pretty insane understanding of the game.
I'm a relatively new player, and one thing I haven't been working on much is movement This was a really helpful guide man Looking forward to ur next uploads 👍
Please, when you creating a term, make sure you doing it really properly It,s hardly Dash cancel, more logical name for it is Dash stop, maybe baby dash or at least Dash MOMENTUM cancel You played Rivals before, you know that term cancel itself means a lot of different things (DACUS or ledge cancel for example), so dash cancel meaning in brawlhalla could be "dash then attack"(we cancel dash animation) "dash then slide dodge"(same sense) "dash after successful attack" (we cancel CD by pressing down) "snapping to platform"(canceling jump animation by pressing dash)
so basically, learn most of (if not all) of the options you have available after a certain interaction, and either go for mix-ups or choose one according to your opponents habits? and then at some point it becomes rock paper scissors, i guess?

I don't get how your so good with mouse + keyboard, using mouse takes a whole other skill level
