I agree with the "do whatever it takes". However, sometimes people take it to the point where they will not adopt a BETTER playstyle just because they lose when they are learning it. For example, someone who has only ever sig spammed aggressively will not play as well with a reaction-based playstyle at first. In the end, however, it will almost always pay off to fight through the learning curve and get good at that playstyle. Same with learning a new weapon or legend. It's gonna lose you games at first. That doesn't mean it's a bad idea.
sig spamming is the only exception to that rule well you can sig spam against a sig spammer of zariel orion or loki but like sig spamming is the clown way to play brawlhalla

It’s like when you learn a new combo and start fishing for the combo. You’ll rarely hit your combo when fishing for it, but once you play enough, those combos will come naturally without fishing for it
On mobile if you press the attack button after you jump too fast, you just don't attack. It's almost like there's a minimum input time in order to prevent true combos.
When playing playing on mobile if not connecting a controller then if you want to attack right after a jump I normally swipe from the jump to the attack button

As a tip for going against passive players: get closer then you need to cuz you know for a fact they will run instead of hit Example: with spear if they always dash back I’ll dash into them one more time then usual and side light, they won’t expect it and fall for the easiest combos. If they like to cross from your left to right a lot then run into them and swing being you cuz you know they’ll run in that direction.

It's a really bad combo to have. About your first tip, I don't get how that happens. Whenever I input two things at the same time only one will happen. Tip #14 and tip #20 are also bad advice for a very different reason: simply being at a higher rank does not mean you're improving. Lucky matchmaking can lead to players getting a higher peak elo than their skill level should allow, and reaching a particular elo threshold by abusing a strategy that doesn't work against higher level players doesn't mean you've improved enough to play at that rank. Both can lead to discouragement that kills your ability to grow as a player, and does more to drive people away from the game than it does to keep people invested in their own improvement. There's also a severe lack of any tips surrounding having the right mentality for growth and improvement, which is the #1 thing holding most players back from improving, especially at low levels.
