He fits what the Hawks need. We need a lengthy big rim protector and rebounder that is athletic enough to guard on the perimeter. We have plenty of scoring prowess in Trae, DJM, Jalen Johnson, and Bogi off the bench. We need size and defense.
@@alexanderrose1071 Yeah, I’m not disappointed. My top two choices are Risacher and Clingan. Sarr is athletic but very raw and too light to be effective at the center position. He probably wouldn’t see much playing time early on anyway. Risacher and Clingan would be able to contribute right away.
The only reason I’m optimistic for Alex and the Hawks is because of these point guards they have are literally the best pick and roll ball handlers in the league. Easy points for the bigs lead to confidence
He reminds me of Kevin Garnett. (Showing my age). Very athletic 7 footer that isn’t a toothpick or lethargic monster. Hawks should take him and keep Trae and Dejounte. All this talk of trades is nonsense. You don’t get better by trading all star caliber players. Improve your defense and they’ll win more
Trae and Murray are not a good backcourt tandem. The offense does not flow smoothly with both of them. Clint & murray need to be traded...hunter isnt going anywhere because of the contract but him off the bench is good plus he likes it better
Centers attempting 3's is the equivalent of small guards that can really jump. It's enticing but ultimately won't determine how good they actually are at the customarily required basics of their position.
Thanks for the great video bro. I'm definitely more convinced about Sarr and his defence. He reminds me of Duren at Pistons ALOT, but do you think that Sarr can improve his shooting to say 40/36/80 standard?
Brotha you gotta watch Oliver Sarr, Alex older brother. There’s a similarity in play style and fluidity of movement with length that this new wave of French players presents wemby, ricassher, Sarr, Dieng. I see him being a more fluid myles turner but he’s not going to be a punisher down low and use his strength to overpower. What he is elite at is being able to guard wings.
Three teams that would be interesting to see getting to draft Sarr, 1) Wizards him and Bilal Coulably defensively would be exciting to watch, 2) Spurs, him and Wemby don't even go into the paint, 3) Grizzlies, him and Jaren Jackson Jr would also be scary.
Drafting based on measurables is fools gold. Basketball is about fundamentals and skill. Potential swings both ways. It just means that the player is not currently able to do certain things but MIGHT do them one day.
Landry Fields, I know you are reading some of these messages. Please make up for past mistakes made by the Hawks on draft day and select Alex Sarr! He runs the floor like Dominique Wilkins and reminds me a little of Giannis. The kid will get bigger and stronger in the next couple years and has quick feet and is a defensive force. His fade away jumper is getting better and better. Draft Sarr please! The kid will be an All-Star in two years.
In none of these highlights did I see him force his will in the paint on offense or defense. His best ability is as an off ball defender (basically the 4). Shots too inconsistent to be a stretch 4 like Porzingus and he’s not strong enough to play the 5 against real bigs. That’s why Jokic and Embiid are MVP candidates every year; no one plays big enough to guard them. Atlanta should choose Clingan or Edey. They don’t need a bad wing shooter, they need paint points and rim protectors.

Sorry he refuse to visit Atlanta

Here to see other Hawks fans doing research lol

I wasnt super high on Sarr but i see it now. And his floor being Nic Claxton still isnt bad.
I can see Claxton as a low end projection. I’d be confident he can be better than him though just based on his ball skills
Here after the Hwks got the first pick
Yet he refuses to visit the Hawks, and will end up on the Wizards 😂
You here bro?

I been saying trade hunter and Capela I just need Trae to be a better team player and quit the circus show and he'll be fine.
Just look at the teams remaining in the playoffs. The core of those teams were built via the draft.
He’d be just fine playing alongside Trae. Jalen Johnson is also a great playmaker. I think Atlanta is perfect for him and he’s perfect for Atlanta.

Sarr is the only player with true Superstar potential in this draft.
Not true, truth is nobody knows until later. Nobody thought Giannis or Jokic and many others would be great and here we are

I’m so excited
Loving these scouting reports, great analysis.
Appreciate it!

Maybe 36% on low volume spotups
36 would be a stretch but not impossible. The other standards are very attainable
Great content thank you, keep doing it. 👍👍
Thank you!

Well he’s a hawk

3:06 "he's not a real person"🤣😅

He’s 18. He should be the first pick.

I really see him in a raptors jersey
James wiseman type
Ron Holland or Robert dilligham best players from this class and Stephon Castle future all stars
I’ll be doing scouting reports on all of them eventually, but I do like all three of them
WITH THE FIRST PICK IN THE NBA DRAFT...THE ATLANTA HAWKS SELECT ALEX SARR!!!!!!!
