Reading the comments, two guys had some serious problems that's alarming. I've had My eye on this Model for a while now, recently I saw it at the store in a trim package I've not seen before. The Urban tac package with a threded barrel and two +3 mag extensions making them fifteen rd'ers and the price buck short of seven. It's a shrunk down 92 GTS , G=decocker TS=twin sear. DA/SA operation it does have dead trigger saftey. I looked it over carefully it appears to be in perfect order, I'll know more after first range day . I can tell you l've been very happy with My 92 FSR-22lr and M9A4 and 92 XI SAO =Single Action Only LIMITED EDITION Vietnam tiger stripe. Lock-Grip company does make the traditional wrap round grips for the Vertex type grip . The launch additions came in a tungsten bluish and bronze lower frame. However, I've never seen The Urban Tac package limited edition before, the threded barrel adds a half inch to the barrel length which might increase velocity , the website parts list doesn't offer the standard length barrel which might be better for the carry holster, nor plus 3 mag extension, maybe in the future . It is the coolest 380 ,the double action trigger is a safest carry option . Remember, You are the primary Saftey on any firearm , practice, practice, practice, know your equipment, know the Laws in your area . Firearms Legal Protection is a good idea in case of trouble for the same reason you carry ! ❤
Well said. Thanks for watching ! I do like the 80X a lot but I still feel like the best bang for your buck in a .380 is the Ruger Security.380 ,followed closely by the Glock G25. But, I'm reserving final judgement until I can get my hands on the new S&W Bodyguard 2.0. It looks like it might be the real deal. I guess we'll see.
I bought one for each of my two daughters. Nice looking gun, but I had to send both back due to visible asymmetric crowning which impacts the accuracy. I’m interested in hearing what beretta we’ll do.
Wow! I'm sorry for you but, I feel lucky. Mine is pretty much perfect. Very accurate and so far very reliable. I'm confident that Beretta will make it right. Thanks for watching.
I have this gun , only have about 500 rounds through it. My biggest problem is the machining on the beaver tail , on the side of the beaver tail that almost 90 degree machine cut is very sharp, it almost feels like a razor blade edge . on my first day of shooting it cut my hand pretty good, next time I went shooting it cut my hand open again. I put a band aid around the beaver tail and it helps but from recoil now the band aid has more of a sand paper effect and its rubbing my skin off. I'm about to just sacrifice the finish on the gun and sand down those sharp machine edges on the beaver tail and just bring the beaver tail up to a mirror finish. I love the gun but the fact that it physically hurts me to shoot really sucks. BTW I'm 5 '3 and have small hands . This seems like a quality control issue because there's more than one place on the gun where the edges of something are very sharp . I don't have a standard black gun I have that limited edition olive green gun that came with the fancy case.
@ericodinski7233 I figured it was just mine. I ended sanding those sharp edges. Now my gun is missing the coating where I sanded but as long as it's not cutting me anymore I can deal with it
Brother from another mother!!!! I carry a Fusion 1911 4" barrel 10mm. Mexican carry. Yesterday i bought a Cheetah 80x in OD green for lighter carry. Wtf
Bought it, sent it back. Had a blown out hole on the frame where the pin that retains the ejector mechanism is drilled out. The hole was bulging/ovaling proud of the frame where the slide makes contact with the frame. Poor quality p.o.s. gun. Brand new out of the box never fired garbage. Now I'm waiting for beretta to figure out what my options are that could take weeks.
Wow! I'm starting to wonder if I didn't just get lucky . I haven't had any issues at all with mine. I'm 400 rounds in so far. Please, let me know how it all works out.
I've got an original cheetah 84, great gun, but I've also got a Tisas Fatih that's pretty much the same damn gun for a fraction of the price, I honestly get better groups with the Fatih.
I'm sorry to hear that. I still like shooting mine. I will say though, that the Ruger Security.380 and Glock G25 are both better bang-for-the-buck pistols than the 80X.
Thank you for replying and I agree totally with you that the Ruger Security 380 and the Glock are both good I really do wish that cheetah would have been better suited for me because I do love my Berettas
Here is a suggestion for you. You can buy a 81/84 32 acp barrel (Alleghany Arms) and use it in this gun. They are completely compatible although you may have to make some adjustments to the magazines. 32 acp is probably the best cartridge for these blowback operated pistols. See video: "Beretta Cheetah Comparison: 81/85/80x plus suppressed 32 acp conversion"

Just checked mine, not seeing or feeling what you’re talking about. The edges on mine are well rounded.

It must be one that slipped through the cracks. Mine's machined flawlessly.
@WaywardSonCustom $1000 for a limited edition gun and I get the one with defects . Just my luck 🤣👍
Well, on the bright side, you now have a custom 80X 😜
This is the first pistol I have purchased that did not come with an owner’s manual. No info on take-down, etc.
Yeah, you would think at the price point you would get one.
Thank you for the review, pick it up in 4 days :).
You're welcome . Thanks for watching !
it’s not so much about the size of the bullets it’s more about shot placement.
Amen ,brother!

Yep. I love 10mm. I am also surprised by how much I like the 80X . Like you said, WTF?

That is bad ass.
It is pretty slick.

I might just have to check out the Faith. Thanks.
Nice!
I know I dig it !
I bought one and I was very disappointed it's expensive and was just a very uncomfortable shooting pistol
I'm sorry to hear that. I still like shooting mine. I will say though, that the Ruger Security.380 and Glock G25 are both better bang-for-the-buck pistols than the 80X.
