      @@HowToCookSmarter I hope to come close to what you did. All my life I've enjoyed Graham Crackers with peanut butter and also stacking the oblong Grahams with apple butter between each cracker then let set overnight and have something like a poor man's spiced apple stack cake! My mother taught me that and I did it in college and had super yet cheap desserts for my friends. Homemade Grahams used this way should be delicious.

    Man, Sasha you're always on it! These Graham Crackers have a more appealing look and so many ways toeat them, the last way you show us, dunking a cracker into milk,ever since Kindergarten when our teacher would hand out small cartons of milk and one graham cracker(consisting of 4 rectangular-shaped crackers), well the preferred method to eat them were to dunk in your milk and enjoy them that way. Thanks for sharing buddy, liked and will try this recipe, hopefully soon. :)

    Thanks for another great recipe. I'd given up on graham crackers because of all the additives and sugar in them and was just thinking of how I could bake them myself and along comes your health-oriented culinary genius again! :D Now I can finally make that healthy mango cheesecake I've been wanting to try for ages without the bother of hit-and-miss experimentation in baking my own crackers first :D Your recipes are simply the best! I made your oat-based chocolate pudding a few days ago and the whole family LOVED it. It's so nice to be able to make - and enjoy simple, healthy desserts made from wholesome, natural ingredients that fit into an active life style - especially now that I'm trying to get rid of 5 extra kilogrammes that just snuck up on me this winter...

    Made them today. They have the taste of a graham cracker, very good. Would have liked them a little crispier. Will adjust baking time and temp. next time. Much better than store bought!

    everyone should really learn to make their food staples like these and also get your food storage buildt up and cooking supplies stored to last a long time! you may need them with the crazy famine issues going on

    Can you use vegan butter such as Miyoko's Creamery my favorite? I use graham crackers to make an ice box cake too. Just layer the crackers, spread on unsweetened applesauce, let sit over night in the refrigerator. In the morning top with whipped topping, and you'd be amazed at how much this is like a cake you'd bake.

      Hi Marcy! Sure, you can use this vegan butter too. Love the idea of making an ice-box cake this way, this overnight method is something I just have to try it out. Thanks for sharing!

    Is there an alternative for apple sauce ?

    • @kingfuzzy2
      @kingfuzzy2 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      any jam or marmalade with pectin. if you really really want to you can use regular pectin or spend 3 days making your own pectin for cheap using unripened green apples and a small amount of sweet ripe apples.
