The Himalayan 452 appears decent, but I've got to say, I'm totally vibing with the classic Himalayan 411 when it comes to its style and overall aura. Of course, the real deal-breaker here is the price tag. If it's sky-high, not too many folks would be grooving to the 452 over the KTM 390 Adventure. 🏍🤘
Then Triumph introduces the 400X. Harley Davidson introduces the 440X (27 HP) Him-e new electric Himalayan I am staying with my 2022 Himalayan. Works admirably for me. 10 months and 4100 Mile's. Vegas riding. Dust and wind, no rain. Ride -Safe with Hi-viz. We have lunatic drivers from all over the world.
One thing that totally helps RE is the discount prices they offer. The INT650 is about as good as a bike you can buy new for around 6k. The bike is solid, fast enough in both pick up and highway driving, and looks GREAT. What makes the INT650 stand out was the PRICE and good enough performance for what it was. If the INT650 was 7.5K new it would not do nearly as well and people would look elsewhere... I am in the market for a 2nd bike and I am looking at the Himalayan 450, but if it cose close to the KLR I will be going with that bike because it is a proven platform... If the Him is 1k less than the KLR i will consider it... I have a feeling the price is going to be around the price of the KLR and that is not good for RE...
agreed, I own the 411 just bought it because it’s the last one, and I hope the best one. You are spot on, it will be a tough sell against the ktm 390 adventure. Also it’s the first version it most certainly be buggy but perhaps I am wrong and this bike will finally be the adventure unicorn bike, and if that is the case Inwill buy it. cheers mate
Give me 650 twin cylinder engine based Himalayan with this body, frame & all new features. I will surely buy that. The sound of RE’s 650 engine is just so good❤❤❤ But no disregard to this bike it’s awesome too❤❤

RE Obviously have high hopes for the new Himalayan but I have some questions. The new Sherpa engine it seems a big upgrade from the LS410 but How easy is it to maintain by comparison? How serviceable is it? Rebore? Oversized pistons? (Probably not a thing with applied coatings on the piston and bore) What is it expected lifespan (Longevity)???
Interestingly if you look at the big end of the conrod it appears not to be split, almost as though you need to split the crankshaft to change the big end bearing, like a 2 stroke.
By the engine side i think this is very good package service is every 6000kms has dry sump lubrication system forged piston and also low friction coating is also present.
I've never liked bells and whistles on a motorbike, it's anathema to why I ride motorbikes. However, for those who are gadget laden, I'm sure they will be happy with the new Himalayan.

U tested the bike india. U named it Himalayan which is mighty Himalayas which touches india, then why u launched the bike in outside india. All about marketing. But ur biggest mrkt is india.
Off road 200-400km ok no complains had some problems with the fuel pump after 900km that was the only issue bike can easily do the round of the world if you need of course a no fancy bike with latest electronics etc.
Well if this much can be worked from a Himalayan ...Then we are waiting to see a MONO SHOCK Hunter 350 Grande tooo...... A happy jolly Custom Hunter 350 biker.😊
The bike deserved 1. INDIA Launch 2. A better coordinated presentation. Great product but bad launch. The event dint even look like a launch (even if it is a soft launch). I love my 10 years old Classic 500 and am eagerly looking forward to 650 Scrambler. Please give that bike a launch that it deserves. Make the event worthwhile for the great bikes you make. PLEASE!
As good as it appears, it’s a half baked effort from RE with no sign of tubeless spoke wheels at launch for their major market India. With no sign of SG650, and interceptor’s ergonomic issues and Super Meteor focused at cruising, the 650 cc mill in an SG650 would have been the best fill to bridge the gap but RE thought otherwise and held back.
Should have launched it in India! Could have introduced the motorcycle in a far far better way since it is a very important probably the most important launch for Royal Enfield.
Waiting for more than 1.5 year you guys promised it to launch today without unveiling the price that disappointing for me . Why do you guys want so much time even if i book the bike still confused regarding tubless spokes atleast you should have give a clear idea about them. All you guys do is keep waiting us more and more
