    Your hair looks nice and healthy. This is exactly how I trim my hair. Trimming once a season has made a world of difference vs when I didn't.

    So true about knowing your hair. For years I had a weekly wash and blow dry with my hairdresser. But with COVID had to learn to do my hair, realized that I have three curl patterns and let my just grow long, now hits arm pits. Still see hairdresser but just for color and trim and taught her that most of my hair is 3a with a 3b section of 2c section. She’s amazed at how helpful this information is! No need for flat iron except a little touch up on 3b edges.

    Hi Mya! You have done a beautiful job on keeping your hair goals. The trim was excellent. I love you large, jumbo twists! They are so healthy and thick! It is truly apparent that you are trimming as per schedule. How long did this wash day take? Do you ever experience any excessive hair loss due to pulling when you use the Revlon dryer?

    • @KlassicallyKept
      @KlassicallyKept  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hey MJ! Thank you.
      Wash day with deep conditioner is 5 hours
      Wash day without deep condition is 4 hours
      Also, please keep in mind both time frames include snacks lol
      I do not find that I have any hair loss from the Revlon. I will say though since I am keeping up with my ends the process is even better.

    I love your hair videos. I noticed in a more recent video you mentioned adding alma powder to your deep conditioner. I was looking for that step in this video. However, you did not add it in this video. I did order organic alma powder yesterday, because you said it was a game changer. You said just add a spoon full to your deep conditioner, so that is what I plan on doing. Thank you!👍😊

      Since you mentioned alma power I started to do research on it. I found so much wonderful information. I just turned 62, and I don't like gray hair. So I would color my hair with box hair dye every 16 weeks. With my research on alma power. I combined 3 videos to come up with my own organic natural hair dye. Using black tea powder, alma powder, henna powder, aloe powder, and indigo powder. I will try it in 14 weeks because I just colored my hair 2 weeks ago, just before my birthday. My hair journey anniversary is April 19, 2023. In 8 months I retained 6 inches in hair length. My hair is healthier than it has ever been and I am loving my hair care routine. 👍🏽🤗🌹🙏🏽💖

    Hi 👋 I’m thinking that I might pass on the Dyson Mya. I was thinking of purchasing the Dyson just for blow drying and for trimming. I am not a fan of flat ironed hair but when you pulled out the Revlon blow dryer lol 😂 I was like nooooo this is not looking good. I love my Revlon but I don’t know. Can you give us some pros and cons to the Dyson please 🙏🏿 because this one is expensive.

    • @KlassicallyKept
      @KlassicallyKept  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Connie! lol
      I have the Revair. I have actually been thinking about the Dyson and I have heard very good things about the Pattern blow dryer. The Dyson blow dryer is expensive as well
      Pros
      shorter time
      does not dry hair out
      blows out straighter than the Revlon
      Con
      cant see hair
      not really supposed to use product ( yall know how I am about the heat protectant )
      may take some time to figure out

    Came across your channel a day or two ago and wanted to say I really enjoy your content, delivery, and consistency :). Thanks for taking the time to create and share. I see massive growth for your channel growth in 2024! Two questions -
    Q1: What heat protectant do you use? I couldn't find it in the links, but may have missed it. I rarely use heat, but my hair is waist length and these single strand knots have become demons. I've heard several people reference heat-stretching as a way to minimize SSKs, so I'm going to give it a try.
    Q2: Have you considered organizing your content into playlists (e.g., hair, fashion/luxury, vlog/get to know me)? I wanted to binge-watch your hair content and ended up using command+f to find everything with "hair" in the title. Totally worth it, but I think playlists could help your channel views and content discoverability (esp for those of us who want to binge-watch).

    Loving the discovery of your channel! Just wanted to get some clarification.
    Do you cleanse your scalp outside of the shower then follow with an additional shampoo in the shower?
    Do you condition and detangle in the shower and then apply deep condition outside of the shower?

    • @KlassicallyKept
      @KlassicallyKept  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello and welcome to the community.
      Yes I do.
      For my scalp I use Tea Tree Special Shampoo, Deep Cleans, Refreshes Scalp. I cleanse my scalp out of the shower, just to make sure I get all the build up. For my strands I use Briogeo Superfoods Banana + Coconut Nourishing Shampoo.
      Yes. I apply my deep conditioner out of the shower. Actually I have found detangling while applying my deep conditioner cuts down on wash day in general and allows me to see what section I am detangling.
