    John's work touring with the Grateful Dead for the last 7 years (actually Dead and Co, three members of the Dead) has been awesome, will be sad to see it end next year after their final tour together.

      I'm pretty sure there's going to be more John playing with some form that band still. Billy and Mickey (sadly) just can't do three hour shows anymore. But there have been many bands with the original members since Jerry passed in 1995. Still is, actually. Three right now. Whenever one band runs its course they've just switched up some members and called themselves something else. My guess is that happens again. John is doing a solo tour and doing part of each set acoustic. I won't be at all surprised if he and Bob do some acoustic shows after that tour.

    I really wish I knew what pedals he was using for that tone.. qtron plus what else? Octave?
