Why does Andrew keep saying people are celebrating the deaths of innocent civilians, insinuating that Palestinians are happy with this situation? Pro Palestinian groups have repeatedly condemned the attacks on Israel. However, not a single pro Israeli source or western media channel has condemned the killing of over 1,000 Palestinian children in less than one week. Even piers Morgan couldn’t bring himself to confirm the attacks on Gaza. It’s disgusting

They're right in that Oct 7 didn't happen in a vacuum. It grates on me so much when people act like Oct 7 was day 1 of this conflict. It ignores all the nuances and context that led up up that disgusting fateful day. It ignores all the transgressions the Israeli government have carried out in all the years prior. It ignores all the suffering the Palestinians have gone through for so many years.
No one is acting like this happened in a vacuum, but if what happened on Oct. 7th and the response to it doesn't make you stop and realize something is seriously wrong on the pro-Palestinian side... If you want to sit and nuance what they did... If you can't call it what it is: sadistic barbarism, then I question your moral compass and if you have one.

But it’s being honest to also acknowledge that it didn’t happen in a vacuum. We can’t act like Oct 7 happened out of nowhere and we can’t ignore all the suffering that went on before that day. I’d say any sane and logical person would be pro Palestine in this conflict. They’re the ones without a state. They’re the ones being bombed into oblivion. They’re the ones being chased out of their homes.

If you’re comparing the conditions in Palestine to a concentration camp from WWII, then you are seriously misguided, vengeful and unaware of either the conditions in Palestine (moreso Gaza) or unaware of what a concentration camp is.
Concentration camps were camps that killed people daily for the purpose of killing them and used those who were able to work as workers to supply those who were doing the killing with labor at no charge.
The conditions in Gaza are terrible. People are dying and getting killed there, but generations have inhabited that land which means that Gaza isn’t a concentration camp. People do not get killed there by the thousands or even hundreds on a DAILY basis.

Those who don’t understand the conflict will make that mistake but I feel like those who are for Palestine need to make a distinction between the two as well. I’m all for Palestinian freedom but I have seen a lot of people justifying the acts of October 7th due to the issues in the past but if people really want to play that game, you can push back into the past to a time where the Arabs were oppressing the Jews. Before the Jews were given a Zionist state.

Well that was useless, everyone is so 'confused' and 'in the middle' because the oppressor, Israel is very powerful in their industry. They look like they've been forced to talk about this because it's the number one topic on social media and clearly the world is beginning to acknowledge the apartheid in Palestine. They just want to get through this segment without upsetting any of the powerful people who could affect their career and income. A token discussion about the plight of the Palestinians.

It goes back to the British colonization/invasion of Palestine. Displacing Palestinians, and then claiming an Israeli State.........This is never going to be resolved through talks and peace.
It started through war and invasion..........it can only be ended with a total apology and withdrawl of an Israeli state.

Andrew's words really touched my heart. These are my thoughts exactly. I have so much love for the Jewish people, this was a terrorist attack. No doubt about it. I don't agree with the mindless bombing and loss of life.

If you want to speak about such a sensitive matter that doesn't only concern Palestinian people but also arab and Muslims all around the world you have to be very careful and also knowledgeable about it...that being said
The land is a Palestinian land and jews were pushed upon them from the west after they kicked them out, so it's crystal clear that it's Occupation by force and they didn't even help the Palestinian to accept that by their brutal actions throughout the 75 years of this horrific occupation... they have killed, tortured and imprisoned thousands of innocent civilians without any reason , just because they were not heard and they didn't have the power to defend themselves. By the way the occupation forces used to mock the Palestinian people whenever they want.
Not to mention the clear Crawling on their lands only by the force of the guns, stealing all the resources including food , gas, water and electricity and preventing them from their legitimate rights of everything.
