I am binge watching your videos since the start since I just found your channel and the rawness of this video is what makes it so good to watch. You guys are an inspiration, keep bloody doing it.
Not that I don't appreciate your sick edits (because I totally do) but this minimal edit is a breath of fresh air and much less 'Corporate'. Excellent Job 😇
That's the way sailing should be, no theatrics, just sailing at its best. Love getting the videos of you enjoying life, may 2023 be the best year you have had.
IMHO, one of your best episodes by far! Very nice to hear dialogue that sounds real, and both entertaining and educational to see you both taking care of your boat!
Hi Becka and Zack, this episode is absolutely fabulous. Please do more like this from time to time. It feels like we are right there with you sailing! Amazing.
This was really well done you two. Really like how kind you both are to each other. That will go a long way when the going gets tough, but you have each other's back.
I have to say, your engine room accessibility is fabulous! I can see why it was a big selling point. You both have come so far in a short time and you make great videos. Cheers.
You're so good at producing really nicely edited videos and realise that there was more work in this than it might have appeared but it was really nice and relaxing to follow a slow sail :-)! Thanks!
Hey guys. This was so relaxing to watch. It just brings back that feeling of sailing, which is quiet, slow and (hopefully) relaxed! But one note - you might want to think about not zipping up the sails or moving the halyard back until after you’re moored or anchored securely. If your engine fails, then you’re going to want at least one of them up asap to get steerage and the headsail doesn’t give you enough directional options. I haven’t needed to use it myself but even Delos needed to do it in one of their latest videos.
Really nice! Gives a good feeling of what it is like when you are out sailing, and quite educational as sailing goes, how you do things etc. Hopefully this will start a trend! I'd love to see more content like this from all the different sailing channels.
A really great video that has brought back many wonderful memories as I have done that trip a number of times over the last few years. Bequia is simply stunning, enjoy the sun x
Hello you 2 I've watched every episode of yours over the past 2 weeks since you bought your boat. Thank you for your great content and the beautiful insights into the world of sailing. And not only the good sides, but also what can go wrong. Thank you and keep it up
Those days of silence are just a memory. Thanks for reminding me why sailing is so wonderful when things are calm. Looks like your galley had a little mishaps. Great video you to sail safe
Loved the podcast and think it has some great points. My husband even ask me to listen to it but, here is the problem. What I heard was that most marriages can be saved. (Ours needs saving) I also heard that there are pink and blue roles and sucessfull marrages intergrate them in there lives and marriage. I was so excited after I heard the podcast because he said he wanted to talk about it. His idea of talking about it was a family meeting including all 4 kids (a teenager to 3 year). What he wanted to do was choose a BIG family project that we could do together and grow close. Now don't get me wrong I understand family projects can make you grow closes, but what I was hoping for was a (Blue) man, one who I can feel like you explained the boats heater will have fuel, and the engine will work, that all the half started jobs might get finished. Someone that would understand that by the time I finish cooking, cleaning, homeschooling, feeding the animals, and running the kids to activites, and dressing femine for church I am exhausted. One that might be interested in a relationship with ME. You are right I can call place service the car, fix problems in the house, have finish his unfinshed projects completed etc... and I normally do because those jobs are beneath him. Not that he is uncapable of doing them its just not important. On so many fronts I would love to know he had my back. I know I am not perfect but I don't think your podcast was about doing a family project that will most like fall on me to make sure the kids follow through, still cook 3 meals, wash clothes, teach etc.. Thanks for sharing you are truly right women love men that will do the (blue) jobs. Don't feel sorry for me I chose to get married, I am just amazed that two people can listen to the same podcast and hear two totally differant things. Honestly it should not be a surprize. Love your podcast it is full of truth.
Wooo Hooo. If i were going to be a patreon it would be on your channel... But i have decided to put all that i can save towards a sailboat and just "bloody doing it" Happy sail and fair winds to you two. I love you "boat" 😆😆😆
.... great idea for a video .... thoroughly enjoyed that ... have to say, always enjoy the constant communication/sharing between the both of you .... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ...
That means a lot thanks, we always get nervous when we do big changes like this. If we get enough positive feedback like this I'm sure we'll do it again.
👍 fabulous video, watched it on my phone in the garden listening to the skylarks, now going to put on the big tv with full sound to enjoy it again. Great to see you working as a team doing what you do. Take care both 😊🌹
Really enjoyed that one thank you ,you should def do those every now and again. Getting to see all the work with the sails up close Is something you don’t see on other sailing vids ( I watch a lot of sailing vids) and continuous walkthrough of the vessel is cool to see. You guys have come a long way keep it up 👍 . Fair winds
Bequia is my favourite island. I just opened a coffee shop right where you are moored on the mainland beside Frangipani! Hope you enjoy your time in Bequia!
Thank you. Fairly uneventful sail except for towards the end. Adjustments made as required. Not to shabby. Another safe passage of a small nature. Stay safe. ❤🙏
it is incredible how you still only have 50k subs, don't worry guys the algo will choose you one day and you'll get in a short timeframe a ton of new subs. your content is on my top 3 easily of the sailing channels, and I follow 100s of them!
Got to honest, been watching for a long time when you first brought the boat but this episode made me feel a little sick, like sea sick. Enjoy and keep the vids coming
watching you work around the windlass, getting the snubber inboard, reminded me of the deep respect I developed for cleats when barefoot. Savagely stubbed toes are a pain. thanks for the video.
If you are looking for more value from your water melon and less waste, there are many different ways to prepare the rinds, from a candies version to pickled, all are great ways to get extra vitamins on your journeys.
hi guys, not sure if you know but some silicone spray applied every once in a while on your cars , zippers, hatch seals, engine hoses or any other plastic/rubber material adds to lubrication & longevity of the parts and it's water repellent.
I love the video. Cool that yall don't say a whole lot when your sailing. I think it is a good sign for the 2 of you regardless wonderful work! -Cliff Battleship Marine Supply Fairhope, Alabama
Another fantastic video. Just think when you were commenting on how beautiful that other sail boat was they were probably saying the same thing about your Teulu.
Excellent view of how it is done and the pleasures that come with sailing. I have a suggestion though, instead of using that set of 'everything under the sun' bits, get yourself some good quality drivers that fit the hardware on deck. In an emergency/rush those litlle bits will take too much time to get inserted, or they go overboard.
Hi can you answer some questions about sailing for a beginner? 1. Does someone always have to be at the wheel or near it? Like at night? If this is the case, then would another boat not a sailboat be a better option? But I think sailboat is more ideal if you want to sail up America and then up to Iceland then down to Europe, right?
Hey wait a minute, since when (/which episode) do you guys have an anchor motor? Did I miss something? I thought Zach’s always pulling by hand haha Also love how Becca is grinning into the landscape in full on idle mode as can be seen at 2:36 😁

Cheers, it's nice to produce something slightly different sometimes 😁
Really agree with this, no ads (yet?!) and not the same as many videos are these days...aspiring to be 'influencer'-like and losing their charm.
@@TeuluTribe I agree , if i see one more person on you tube telling me that i must spend $96.00 a month on fake veggie crap i will leave that channel.

Having watched nearly every one of your sailing videos, I am amazed at how comfortable you are now with sailing and repairs underway. Good on ya
It surprises even us looking back at some of the older footage 😆
I really appreciate this low-key video. It shows that you are "bloody doing it." Good job.
