Mine’s a couple years old, doesn’t have a number on it. Doesn’t have rechargeable batteries, and come with a 12 Volt car adapter. May need to upgrade, still a great light!
Would be neat to see "side by side" lighting from the 300 to the 400 version
- I can’t tell a whole lot of difference. Even the boxes look identical. If you find a 300 that’s significantly cheaper, I’d go with it

- I got the 300 a few years ago and the 400 is better than it in pretty much every way.
The 300 and 400 floats too. Your upgrade will be way brighter!
Is it possible to replace the li ion battery when it is dead?
- streamlight says it isn’t serviceable but i’m sure there are workarounds. They may be soldered in place though. IDK
