- Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is SO BORING! Or at least that's what I thought a few years ago when I dropped the anime after just ONE EPISODE!
In this video, I decided to give Jojo's Bizarre Adventure a fair shot by reading the ENTIRE manga series, starting with Part 1: Phantom Blood. Here's my opinion and first impressions of this popular manga series! Enjoy!

One of the things that make JoJo fans look absolutely weird and not in any good way, the JoJo references that are just going to make you look mentally ill. I get the joke but you see what I mean mates?
Part 7's definitely my favourite. Unfortunately at the rate that they're translating, it won't be translated for like 20 years, so you'll never get to read it unless you're willing to read fan translations.

Part 7 is peak, and yea, they DO need to speed up the translations. At this rate P7 will start being published in english in 3 years. Which is WAY TOO LONG
@@The_big_prooooo on less than legal websites, there is no official way unfortunately. if ur fine with using sites you can find it pretty easy, I recommend the colored versions of stone ocean & sbr, they look very pretty
Part 8 is my favorite, but it's not in official english translation yet, so you'd have to read it on a website
Part one isn't one of my favourites, but I have to say that part 2 is much better. My order (best to worst) is: 7, 4, 2, 6, 5, 3, 1 and I haven't read 8. Hope you enjoy the rest!
Part 1 is actually one of my favourites maybe I just have bad taste but I thought hamon was a really good power scaling (until I met stands ofcourse)

the way i got into JoJo was watching the All Star Battle special moves compilation and reading up on the premise of each part. Knowing that the story is seperated into 8 parts helps a lot

I think once you read through the next few parts you will appreciate part 1 more and realize how relevent it is to the story
I respect the hustle. I think that if you felt part 1 was mid then you most likely will enjoy moving forward as Jojo's is one of those series that is considered to get better and better as it goes on. But if you had like realllly hated part 1 then I am not sure it would've been worth going much further haha. - Jerry

The bladed hat while exaggerated heavily was a thing in the UK in the late 1800s, Araki goes above and beyond when it comes to research... sometimes too much as you'll see in future parts (we call them Araki Moments) Part 2,6 and 8 are the best so I hope you enjoy
For me (manga only) part one was alright, and I really liked parts 2 and 3. Part 4 had some good moments but I felt liked it dragged on in a couple chapters so it was a slower read for me.
The part 4 anime really improves the pacing by having the last three stand encounters take place on the same day, so they could show the setup for the future stand fights while the characters were still dealing with the current battle.
Part 6 and 8 best parts imo

For later parts you may have to resort to fan translation unfortunately but considering these same fan translations are what some of these later parts that are highly regarded are only in, it should be fine
I may be one of the only few with this opinion, but I absolutely love part 1! I guess my tastes may be a little bit more traditional, but I just love the ideas part 1 presented! I’m a big fan of over-the-top action, and I found it to be one of the best manga and anime experiences I’ve ever had. I will agree that JoJo does get better in the later parts, but my favorite will always be Phantom Blood for the memories and the experience.
Please keep reading jojo is one of my favorites and part 2 is way better imo but after part 3 is when it starts to go crazy also if u want to keep reading when you finish all the volumes please do because part 7 is a masterpiece

personaly part 1 was really mid at the first read but it grew on me in retrospect, initialy I though it was like 4 or 5 but on a reread it it's like a solid 6/10
a few things before you get to the other parts
1.people gas up JoJo's to be a masterpiece sent from heaven, it's not, it's absolutely fantastic series and one of my absolute favourites but it's not perfect in every aspect, it's a series that doesn't shy away to take risks and thus falls under the acquired taste teritorry, not everybody is going to like it
2.if you didn't like part one, don't get discouraged, the overall tone of the series shifts so much over the parts that if you were to read part 8 after part 1 you woukd think it's a completely different series from a completely different author
3.don't bother about peoples opinions on different parts, like I said each part shifts the setting and tone dramatically so every part has its fans and haters indiscriminately with maybe the only exceptions being part 1 considered the weakest and part 7 the best in most cases although even those have it's fans and haters

@@TeenX- they never said it wasn't, they just said it's not the masterpiece that some fans believe it to be. Personally I absolutely adore the series but I also acknowledge that it's not for everyone and it won't be a 10/10 for everyone

5:15 this also happened to me while watching the anime for part 1! I swear I must have watched the bruford/tarkus fight like 3 times because I kept zoning out, once I even fell asleep! For years I used to hate this part because it made it very hard to get into the series. I'm so glad the later parts are better because if Battle tendency was like Phantom blood I would have dropped the anime.
I had the same reaction after that first episode. I dropped it for a while, but decided to give it another go since it was a friend's recommendation. It does get better lol.
My favorite part? Part 3. The best part? ALL OF THEM!

Part 6 is my favorite, though it may be a while until volumes for it start coming out physically
I love jojo its the one that got me into anime and its also the first manga I bought I like all the parts that I have read/watched I use to think part 3 was the best because its what made jojo what it is today but after reading parts 3&4 I changed to part 4 part 5 is good but its not as good as part 4
you can really tell through the parts how ariki's art and writing gets better
Part 4 is my current fave. Loved the setting and the antagonist. Part 2 Joseph is still my favourite Jojo.
Part 7 is easily my favorite but parts 4&5 are close seconds.
The cool thing is, all the parts are unmistakably “JoJo.” If you like one part, you will probably enjoy the rest of the series but then have one or two sections that are your favorites.

I agree I’ve tried to watch and read Jojos so many times but just can’t get into it and don’t have commitment to make it to part 5/6/7 for it to get good lol

I've only watched the anime and read a bit of the manga. But personaly the best from what I've see is between part 5 and part 4 are the best . From the artstyle to the story so I defo recommend them. Part 6 is also good only watched the first 12 episodes thoe
I suggest you to read the manga online when your done with the physical volumes since they aren't up to date.

try reading pt 3 or 4 because it gets exciting because pt 1 and 2 were his early life and it kinda made no sense but if you read/watch pt 3 to 6 it gets good finish all of pt 1 and 2 and its going to get good

I actually like Part 1 lol. Part 4, 5, and 6 are my favorites with Part 2 & 3 being my least favorite. Haven't gotten to 7 & 8 yet.
For sure part 1 and 2 are the hardest to go through but the series really steps it up from there on, and only gets crazier and crazier

I don't know if this is a hot take or somthing but jojos bizarre adventure part 1 I absolutely hated getting through and it took me forever to get through cause I got so bored, luckily I enjoyed everything after part 1 though but it's the main reason I will never rewatch or reread part 1, its fine if people like part 1 it just isn't for me
