This might be the best game i have ever played, i love strategy games, the settlers games, heroes of might and magic games etc. And this game has everything i like. It has strategy, city building, economy management and exploration. What a game
great review mate! will go back and give this one a go, been sitting there for a while waiting for 1.0.
subscribed, thank you for the content. probably taking the plunge on this momentarily
I picked this up yesterday, blinked, and have 9 hours' playtime. It's so good and so satisfying, it's almost unbelievable. The bar has been so incredibly raised for colony builders like wow
Stop right there.
I've subscribed.
I am a good judge of a genuine individual, and I can tell by how you talk that you care.
You are not a shill. I look forward to hearing your insights of future games I am researching. Thank you
I played so many strategy games and the game just didn't grab me, it felt like a puzzle game with time pressure
It does feel like a puzzle game to me too, but i enjoy the gameplay of figuring out the puzzle of each new settlement
the part about the furries got me crying. its even funnier with you aussie accent
they disgust me
i was playing risk of rain and i kept thinking is the game still on in the backround like bugged or something but it seems theres some bangers as backround music
I just paused the video, went on spotify to listen to the OST and am back to finish the video
The only issue is that the time pressure never let you really enjoy the city builder side. At highest levels you start to literally have only 1 right way (like a puzzle depending on the map config). 1 waste of ressource and you lost your run.
This is an excellent game. Thank you for reviewing it and bringing more attention to this gem. I didn’t know if I would like ATS when I bought it, but I’m so glad I did.
I love how passionate this dude is about this game. I might have to get this game its only £16 on Epic at mo....hmmmmm but I already got red dead 2, CP2077, GW2 and AC Valhalla stealing my life away lol then Home World 3 is on its way *head explodes*
ok ill play
More like 5 hours out of 1 dollar, or even 10 for a good game, cause that is what I expect from a good game.
30-60 Minutes per map seems rather low, compared to stuff like Farthest Frontier, wich I have played for 70 hours.
to much pausing in game nah
The graphics are not that great, i would like to see better graphics.
I played the tutorial and it was quite boring. It's worth saying, I am much into city builders and management games, but the tutorial was just "Build this house, wait for resources coming in, build another house, wait again, cut these trees, you won"
You played the tutorial. Isnt it supposed to tell you “build this, build that, cut trees, win”? The tutorial was very linear, but its supposed to be that way so you get the game mechanics
How is this game worth your money and time? It's endless repetitive town building cycle. After 4 maps you get your game reset. Oh and there is no actual ENDING or the "campaign" because it has no campaign...you just play endlessly repetitively every map again and again.
Good review, but there was no need to bash Furries, they aren't harming anyone
wrong
they harm my eyes
It's the internet's favourite punching bag.
@@gitjiggybruhWell, I wouldnt exactly call furries "harmless or "not vocal" lol
Not a furry myself, but if you go online you can see many furries are unafraid of being one and are proud of their community and enjoy creating furry-centric works. Nothing wrong with that, but ofc with so many people some stuff inevitably tends to be a bit more...cringe or even disturbing so you can see why they are easy targets for bullying
And with all internet communities lets not pretend that there isnt a darker side to furries too. There's furry n@zi's, furries with dark fetishes, deviants, zoophiles, predators and more. Ofc thats not every furry but you can see why the furry community isnt exactly entirely "harmless" either :P
Tho, I will agree that the punching-bag hatred towards furries online tends to be a bit overblown. Personally, I dont really like furry stuff but yknow so long as they dont bother me I wont bother them haha
