Good stuff, always love seeing your Modern videos. Though as a Modern user and fan, this was just raw fundamentals of one of the SF goats. Ryu is the character who loses the most in Modern compared to other characters (oddly enough, since he's a beginner character). He can't manual input Tatsu or Donkey Kick, which removes a lot his options in combos and neutral. He also loses a few good normals. The other Shotos, Ken and Luke, are far better off with their Modern iterations (on top of just being better in general), with Luke being seemingly designed with Modern in mind. I think if Ryu had his Modern kit reconfigured so that the other special strengths could work, then he'd be a much better character overall-enabling his neutral focused gameplay to be enhanced by Modern inputs, while also retaining his optimal combo routes when manually inputted.
