So I can see if my vet can prescribe Cerenia for the motion sickness. I had been tossing the idea to get a human motion sickness over the counter drug for my dog. Because my own vet in Indiana doesn't know if there is a motion sickness drug available for dogs. But personally I am wanting to first explore all that I can for what is made for dogs. Because mine is a 4 year old Blue Heeler. And this breed apparently bonds to the owner as a permanent companion. So she has this need to be with me 24-7, 365 days a year. And she wants to go with me even in the car. But first she is up, looking around, then makes herself comfortable in the back seat, then dose the worst thing, lay down, being the only view is the car seats and interior. Then gets sick in the car. I feel bad for her, because I have to leave her in the kennel for even simple runs, when I should be able to take her with. See the dilemma?
I have the same problem with my dog and I really want to take him places with me and my other dog who does not get car sick.
@@renaej3796 Well, I continued my search online because my dog really wants to go with me. And all I keep finding at the pet stores is meds for relaxing. I saw on Amazon they had Nausx, a Ant-Nausea/motion sickness treatment and Preventative for dogs. I had ordered this. It is suppose to arrive this Sunday of 11/15/2020. I am going to try it out. What I will do is once it comes in, test it out, and I will come back up here and let you know what how it turned out.
@@renaej3796 The Nausx, a Ant-Nausea/motion sickness treatment and Preventative for dogs, maybe a fancy long name, but it is a epic failure for me. She still got sick just the same.

@@krisd13 I have not had the chance to try Dramamine yet. I been looking for this Cerenia. But my vet has never heard of this product. And it seems neither some of the local vets. So I am thinking on trying the Dramamine but I am waiting till it gets warmer so if it fails, I can be able to clean out the car's back seat. Even tho I tape up doggie pads and cover with a sheet, it still becomes quite the mess. Because it is important for her to be able to go on the road with me.
Dogs are not to be called patients only humans !
