Great video. Performance might go up with a 4C/8T Xeon, which would be quite an upgrade and they are quite affordable, though I do not know if TDP would be an issue
The GT 1030 does not have an Nvenc encoder and OBS support for older versions of Intel QSV is a bit dodgy. Most likely OBS defaulted to recording with x264 which would put a decent amount of load on the CPU. With only 4C/4T you don’t have much extra CPU headroom for gaming and encoding. Thus the hit in game FPS that you see.
@@1stblack865 I watched this video over a year ago...I dont remember exactly. But based on the title and context, OBS was hitting the CPU hard. Any CPU limited game like CS2 or Val at low settings will perform better without OBS running. Something GPU limited by the GT 1030 like Witcher 3 probably wont see much difference since the CPU isnt the problem. TLDR most likely turning off OBS will give you better FPS but by how much depends on the game and CPU/GPU load.
sweet build . you should update gpu drivers to play minecraft well cause i have i5 3470 but whiit intel hd 2500 and i play it on 1080p max settings whitout any probleme .

Ahh I see, that is genuinely very helpful thank you. 👍
Then without recording the OBS there will be more FPS?

@@endlesstech_official okkey man .
Thanks!
you should max it out, 32gb ram, i7 3770, gtx 1050 ti or gtx 1650 or maybe do a case swap and get a 1060 6gb or a 1660
he cant really max it out cause of old motherboard i think its like max 16gb
have you try with a i7-4770?
I cannot try with the i7-4770 because it is a different socket type to the motherboard.
interesting gpu, cheaper option for gaming than a switch i guess
Yep, personally I would take this all day rather than a switch 🤷♂️
Hi im going to buy gtx 1050 ti with i5 3470 will i be able to get stable 100 fps in valorant? (low grapchics 1080p)
Yes you should be able to on valorant
@@endlesstech_official okay thank you
