Hi! The GT 1030 doesn't have recording software. You can however record using a capture card connected to another PC which is what I do in these videos. If you have a strong CPU, you can also record using OBS, but that drops FPS by a lot usually. Still, it's an option!

Hello Kryzzp, I look at your channel for GPU benchmarks and now I’m looking at your channel for advice I currently have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650 Super and I’m starting to notice that the 1650 Super is holding back the capabilities of the R5 3600. So I’ve been looking around the GPU market and can’t decide on the Rx 5600xt or the 2060 KO. Could you perhaps tell me the better preforming card or another car in that price range. (I play COD Warzone, Rainbow 6 Siege, League of Legends, Valorant, and Overwatch) Thank you in advance have a wonderful day ✊.
I say wait as well, new GPUs are just around the corner, maybe the 3060 will be a good option ;) If you can't wait, the 5700xt or 2070Super are good pairings for the 3600!
is this gpu good enough for server GPU acceleration? I got an intel xeon E5 2999 and 134 gb of ram, but no gpu, so is this good enough for some acceleration with unraid?

You know what's funny, Kryzzp? A couple of hours before I wrote this comment, I wanted to play GTA on my grandpa's old i5 + GT 530 2GB system. In fact, it ran, but unfortunately, it broke crashed down whole darn system and I was kind of lost. So I disassembled this little piece of crap and changed the paste. This only shows how much people can learn from these videos.

@@archgirl the reason why gpu prices got rediculous is that cryptocurrency (bitcoin and stuff) miners buy like 14 of them to get bitcoin. They made gpus out of stock and made their value INSANE! I’m mad at nvidia abd amd fir allowing this cuz its slowly killing the pc market.
@@lostfrozy5358 Miners are only one angle on a bigger issue. Global silicon shortage, followed right up by a pandemic which shut down the factories and slowed production to a crawl upon reopening, coupled with scalpers discovering the profitability of cards and other components in the PC space sent the prices up. But the biggest reason for the insane prices currently aren’t the miners, the pandemic, or the scalpers even; it’s gamers _paying_ the jacked up scalper prices and keeping them in business. Supply and demand is a two-way street; we can’t attack scalpers for hoarding and profiting on supply if we’re not also condemning those who perpetuate the unprecedented demand. If people were more patient and let the scalpers sit on that stock, the prices would come down in order to shift it and see _any_ return on investment. Anything over MSRP keeps a scalper happy, they just want it way over. The longer stock sits in their spare bedrooms and garages, the more they’ll drop the price and the more we’ll start to see more reasonable price stabilization in the secondary market, along with, _hopefully,_ lower demand on the primary market, giving gamers a foot in the door for MSRP pricing. Thankfully, I managed to find a GTX 960 for a damn cheap price and I’ve been rocking that for about a week now. Got lucky. Now it’s a waiting game for a better card down the line.

Only cards I could even find in stock anywhere were the GT 710 and GT 1030. My old rig has a GT 710 in it (what it came with when I bought the PC on eBay) and it’s a better exerience than I expected it to be, honestly. I was getting playable frame rates in a bunch of games, but nothing you’d actually consider good. Old rig: Intel Desktop DQ77MK board Intel i5-3330 8GB no name DDR3 @1333mhz MSi GT 710 2GB New rig: MSi MAG B550M Mortar board Ryzen 5 3600XT 16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 @3200mhz MSi GT 1030 2GB Apologies for the essay, I doubt you care... 😁
@@MarcoSil95 I haven’t actually built the new rig yet, so I can’t say; still waiting for the case and power supply to arrive. If I remember, I’ll come back and leave a reply with some frame rates for a few games once I’ve built it. If you mean the old rig, I never actually check frame rates, really, but I remember the Tomb Raider benchmark coming out between 25 and 30 FPS the only time I ever ran it. I mostly play modded Minecraft with a resource pack, and it handled that just fine with approximately 130 mods installed. I’ve got Alien Isolation, and with my i5-3330 and GT 710, it was slow enough that you couldn’t really play it, if that’s any indicator for you. Keep in mind, though, that I run Linux, not Windows. No bloatware, much less system overheads, so native games can sometimes run better than on Windows. Others I have to use a compatibility layer called Wine to run the Windows version, which can have performance impacts. Results may vary, as they say.

I actually hope there's an ampere GT 3030 or something that can replace the GT 1030, not to mention be more feature filled, the GT 1030 had to wait 2 years to get G-Sync for out loud.
I always lol when I'm selling a pc with a gt 1030 and people ask if it can play Warzone 60fps
maybe at 144p xD
Lol people in India sell PCs with a Gt 710 saying its gaming pc.
@agam yudhistira if they are cheap, they are good enough for people who want to get into gaming without spending a lot of money

Hi, gaming mum here trying to learn PC language! Don't understand how you used a capture card to record this when everything I'm reading says GT 1030 can't record at all even on an external source?? Help!
Hi!
The GT 1030 doesn't have recording software.
You can however record using a capture card connected to another PC which is what I do in these videos.
If you have a strong CPU, you can also record using OBS, but that drops FPS by a lot usually. Still, it's an option!
I just got this GPU for a stream dedicated build for 80$usd. I was looking for a video that would reference the card and came across this. Thank you. You did an amazing job brother. It helped me guage the "power" of the card and now I'm confident I can use it for that build. Well I only got it cause ryzen 2700 does not have integrated graphics lol but im glad now I know im good
I got one, and after years of running Skyrim on a fucking shoe I can wholehartedly recommend you get one (if your budget stretches to one). Skyrim runs 1080p, so does GTA 5 and also Elite Dangerous. It's not the dog's bollocks, but if you're a budget gamer (or a tight bastard, like me) it will more than do.
yeah my budget didnt quite reach a good graphics card + theyre all out of stock so i just got this one lol

Man, the first GPU I bought. Somehow works well for some games I don't expect it to work at all. Now I just keep it for office works purposes.
Literally all i want to play is csgo, valorant and maybe some other shooters
It is an amazing card fir the price in this market, and those games are esport titles and are bound to get a great performance
i have it,and it got over 90fps in csgo with m low graphic
Gt1030 is overall a good gpu for normal gamers, but for those people who spent the whole day on gaming then, the rtx 3090 is even not enough for them, Gt 1030 is a best choice gpu because it is cheap and durable, and congratulations that you got 1million views☺
(I play COD Warzone, Rainbow 6 Siege, League of Legends, Valorant, and Overwatch) Thank you in advance have a wonderful day ✊.
wait for rtx 3000 and big Navi
I say wait as well, new GPUs are just around the corner, maybe the 3060 will be a good option ;)
If you can't wait, the 5700xt or 2070Super are good pairings for the 3600!
The man that does funniest benchmark
is this gpu good enough for server GPU acceleration? I got an intel xeon E5 2999 and 134 gb of ram, but no gpu, so is this good enough for some acceleration with unraid?
Lol I want that..u know valorant 4k 60fps...Btw keepup only 400 subs are remaining,Luv u❤
Umm.... Thank you so much
And u deserve more subs ;)
for those who dont know, the gt 1030 is roughly about a 750 ti.
And back then 750 ti is the king of budget cards and held the throne for a loooong time.

a little bit of advice, CSGO testing should be the first game in your vid as that is apparently the least demanding title to the card
It still oberheated, and then I realised, i forgot to tighten the screws... That was a little dumb of me. I tightened them screws and first thing I did was looking for your test video. And you helped me so much in term of "stress-testing" this little disaster. I learnt so much from your videos. Thank you for your work.
Edit: I also disabled the shaders like you did it. This only shows how much people can learn from these videos.
you already know rdr2 is gonna be choppy af if its 27fps in the menu

You said a gt 1030 could work on a 200-230w psu does it actually work? Cause my psu is 255w 80 plus gold love the vid btw :)
Okay so I have this card and I’ve been playing On it for about a month now and I love it , but what should I upgrade it to in the future ? Power supply too please
Hmm I guess a 900 series or a 1050 would do good but ofc if you have money you can get better but depends on what your motherboard supports and for power supply buy those gold rated ones and the watts are depending on what are your specs
In Spain for 30-40 euros more you can have a 1650. That's a goooood deal

Say that to my face that you can get better gpus for cheaper. RIGHT NOW xDD
That’s what I’m saying. I just had to buy one of these for my new rig because I couldn’t find a 1660 Super that wasn’t selling for a disgusting price I couldn’t afford.
Got lucky. Now it’s a waiting game for a better card down the line.

perfect card while waiting for a 3080 on a new build...
Literally just bought one for my new build, too. I budgeted for a 1660 Super, but can’t find one at a price which isn’t basically double MSRP, so I needed something to at least give me video out while I wait for the market to stabilize and couldn’t find anything else.
Old rig:
Intel Desktop DQ77MK board
Intel i5-3330
8GB no name DDR3 @1333mhz
MSi GT 710 2GB
New rig:
MSi MAG B550M Mortar board
Ryzen 5 3600XT
16GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 @3200mhz
MSi GT 1030 2GB
Apologies for the essay, I doubt you care... 😁
@@archgirl what frames do you on get on most games with that build?
