Looks like a really nice trip! Thanks so much for the video, it was wonderful. I miss Minnesota so much. I missed my trip up last summer. It is only the eighth summer I have missed in the past fifty-three years.
Have been wondering if you were going to put a spring trip video out. Very nice pictures and video's, you always do a great job! Really enjoy watching, take care!
Having only been to BCWA once in 2011 I can really appreciate the effort you put in to give us all a wonderful journey. Your lenses are track sharp and your understanding of light is amazing. I've enjoyed all your trips more than any others I've watched. Nice to have friends that you can partner with time and time again. Thanks again!
@@TheUnclered2 Thanks for the nice comments... I do take a lot of gear and put quite a bit of effort into it, but the process really helps me to relive the trip after getting home :-)
Absolutely love your videos Gary, the BEST on you tube. this one is a home run; the bonus footage is awesome. I have been to the BWCAW 4 times & watching your videos brings back those memories every time. I watch them over & over. I can't thank you enough for sharing your trips with us. :) :) :)
Loved it ! I won't be going up for awhile, so this filled the bill, until I can ! Thanks Gary ! I can only imagine what you could do Photographically with a Cedar Strip canoe !
Hi Jim, thanks for watching! I hear you regarding the cedar strip... guess I'll just continue to do what I can with my wood trim aesthetics ;-) Hope you can make it back Up North soon.
Thank you for sharing, Gary. The footage of the grouse, regular and slow motion, was my favorite! Several other really great bird shots as well. I also smiled at the island in the fog photo - a beautiful BWCA moment. The bonus video footage was peaceful and it was great you shared it. The water marker sure told the story about the high waters and the rapid drop in levels. Glad your trip went well and everyone was safe. Again, as always, thoroughly enjoyed your presentation.
Discovered the channel recently and love the videos…they tell a story of your trip and the addition of the map route in the video is a fun touch that all bwca trip videos should really include
Fantastic video footage! Another great video. I really appreciate you sharing these trips on TH-cam; I work a full time job and a part time side business here in NC and hoping to get up there into BWCAW at some point ideally before I retire! Love seeing God’s creation through your still shots and video - would you consider doing more video footage in your future trips? Also if you have older unpublished video footage (especially scenic paddling ) would you consider making some compilation videos (could be from many trips(?). May God bless you and yours Sir! (John 3:16, 14:6, Romans 10:9-13) Thanks, Jeff Kimber
Thanks for watching and the thoughtful comments! I have to constantly remind myself to pull out the video camera, but I agree, it's fun to watch🙂 Again, thanks!
Awesome as always Gary. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching Mark!
Greatly enjoyed your video. Make MORE!
Another amazing video. Thank you.

Gary, thank you for the peace & beauty that your pictures & videos bring into our lives.

Gary--have enjoyed your BWCAW photography in the BWJ for many, many years. I hope one day you publish a book. Thanks very much! Jim in MIchigan.
Thanks Jim! After all these years, I do have lots of photos and some stories to go along with them... maybe an e-book one day :-)
Always happy when you guys post!

Thanks for watching and the nice comments Adam! I'm glad to hear it brings back memories of your trips too :-)
Thanks Gary! Looks like you guys had a fun trip. Hope I see you gain down the trail.
It was a good trip... we experienced a lot considering the few miles covered :-)

I enjoy every one of these videos you post. Had a great trip on Frost River during these same dates.
Thanks Andrew! The Frost River has always intrigued me but had a concern about low waters levels. I don't expect that was an issue this year!
@@HamerNaturePhotos it was no worries this year - no less than 3 portages that were skipped. I hope you take a Frost trip sometime.
Great stuff, sound decisions!
Thanks for watching Aleks!

Thanks for watching and the feedback. It was really tough deciding what to include and exclude. There is sure a lot to photograph up north! :-)

Very nice!
Is that a pop-up camper turned into a boat hauler? If so, do you have a video of the conversion?
Thanks Thomas! No, what looks like a pop-up camper is just a hollow area for storing packs and gear.
What is the material used on the fire grate at 5:23? Looks very interesting, would love to try that out for the next trip
What camera are you using for your videos? Great footage. High quality.
Thanks for watching. I used a Canon R5 for the grouse video and a GoPro Hero 10 for the video shot from the canoe.
