How do you make the wrath abilities range high
How do u use the boatmans coins?
Pro tip: watch series on flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
you forgot something, the caltrops are really good with the wrath potion, so whenever you use a caltrop you can use a potion to refill your wrath and absorb the orbs for another potion so you get infinite sustain.
Maybe it is just me, but probably not, I always have a small portion of anxiety when I have to choose what to upgrade… always apprehensive not knowing if I am picking the wrong/wright things. Thanks for this and reducing my stress...lol.
Nah man you're not the only one. The games where you can't respec skill points or have to grind your ass off for something else are the worst

Absolutely. I haven't played a game that feels this amazing in years, it's a masterpiece. Too bad it came so late it will miss all the crappy "game of the year" awards to get more publicity.
Can't agree more... With Blizzard going absolutely shitty this game would be a really nice (and even better) than shitty Diablo 4 that might be coming in a few year... Hopefully they release another game with similar gameplay, maps mechanics.... This is better than Diablo...
Agreed. My brother and I are hooked on it. We've been waiting on a good couch co-op for a while. After the disappointment of Borderlands 3, this is just perfect. I love that there's so much to do. I hope they keep this spin-off series going.

Thank you! Playing CO-OP with a friend, he's Strife, I'm War because I had to start with a controller (had to lay on my side due to recovery) but going to make a solo-game to play Strife more since he seems more my style. I also love the idea of swapping based on the situation. In CO-OP Vessel of the Undying comes along as a 'noob-trap' (very expensive, not needed) but I hope solo kicks my ass enough to change my mind. Buying everything blindly it kinda just turns too much in mash some button and hope for the effect for me, I missed out on so much fun until I got block/vengeance combo.
I really hope they improve the future games but keeping the top down view.
Dismemberment would also be a nice additon.

Yeah. It'd be badass if, for example whenever War does an execution; it zooms-in into close up 3rd person view and you can see him dismember the minions and bosses limbs (like in Ninja Gaiden 2).
I'm loving this on the PS4 :D!! So much fun. I'm still hoping they add some dlc adding Death and Fury :). Perhaps explaining where they've been and such.
No one cares about fury she can sit alone in the corner scowling while the main three get to business.
Very informative and on the point. While I feel like the Vessel of the Undying should not be a major focus for any skilled player it can be super convenient to have it. For me the number 1 buy always is the Potion Health Overflow as the potions charge up faster than what you would get from healing with the health orbs themselves. The Static Shot also has a slowing effect on the enemies, you can shoot them briefly with it to slow them down for a couple of seconds. I feel like this can be quite undervalued and the Charged Shot might be a preference for some people as it can stagger/knock back all enemies hit. Also you can farm health orbs with one of Strife's bullet types, the Nature Shot, I feel like combining your strategy and the nature shot would basically make you bank if you'd be a potion vendor.
I'm a bit new at this. I bought static shot but its not doing anything. How do you make it work?
@@christophercattie You have to equip the Static Shot as either primary or secondary ammo type and use it on the enemies. Strife has 7 types of ammo in the game and once you have them unlocked you can use them whenever you want, you just have to equip them.

the caltron core are a incredible boon given it's boosts war survivability even further. while the legion shieldbeater core seems nice with its 20% shield, 45 seconds is a really long time and maybe better spent on a legion siegemaster with a wrath ability 10% damage reduction on command.

I only just finished chapter 12 so it might be available later, but maybe I just missed something essential?
phantom guard bro, get those cores, you can actually just buy them from vulgrim, if you feel lazy
Glad to see static shot in here, when I first unlocked it, it has been bound to right mouse button and the only time it ever switches out is automatically if I ever run out of ammo. Strife's triple dash and all his passives for ammo, shot speed, and hotheaded. Level 3 Mammon is good too since as soon as I saw what it did I farmed the boss to level it to 3 for the 8% damage converted to healing. I'm yet to progress further than level 10 atm since sleep and work.
Static shot is seriously overpowered. I used the beam cannon first, didn't think much of static after getting it. Probably an after effect of older games where chain lighting is useless after 2 shifts. But in this? Fill up half the hotstreak with regular bullets, switch to static, kill the minors even before Hotstreal, kill or seriously weaken the bigger ones in Hotstreak. meanwhile the dead give back bullets, and the slow down means you can just walk through them collecting everything in between.
@@aravindsurendran Beam doesn't even hit the boss on the first level, because of the elevation issue I found it the most useless ammo to use as Strife.
@@Serialfoxity beam was my aoe attack in the beginning. Stand and spin. I agree, the directing is useless. Some places, random bumps on the ground would block it. And it's almost made redundant with his wrath skill
@@aravindsurendran I used lightning for everything, even the level chain lightning core with War's lightning stance to weaken mobs in the arena then just went invincible with the constant execution of trash mobs lol

Hey Boomstick Gaming, where do you find the "Legion Shieldbearer" creature core? I've beaten him twice and it still hasn't dropped.
It has a chance to drop. Not guaranteed sadly. Farm him in his arena.
His charge shot is also very good

It was a solid game (except for the platforming jumping content). I wish they would add more content or a sequel in this type. Can't go wrong with more excuses to play Darksiders.

im going to start playing this, after recently finished darksiders 3... fall in love with fury... is playing multi player really needed to win this game?
Darksiders 1 was planned to be 4 player coop game, but because of low budget THQ decided to go with War only in first game and single play. My guess is that final game will be 4 player coop!

Its too hard boss fights stuck on 9
What difficulty? I thought the game felt easy actually, as I didn't fail a level a single time- 1st time in my life. Are you using the power form regularly? Don't be stingy with it. Use it whenever you get low health, and after a "wave" just turn it off instead of wasting it. It's easiest for Strife to build it up. Use static shot. Compared to that, I felt the others are basically useless. Get the bar to hotstreak filled halfway with regular bullets, then go to town with static. Also as in the video, get the health overflow but also the passive health regen so you never run off health.
I literally only use Strife's long range attack (guns), and I never use combos or anything else.
It's super easy. The IA in this game is garbage, so you can shoot at enemies from almost a screen away, and they will not chase you. LMAO
You must be playing on easy mode if enemies don't chase you.
Do not get this game for switch the resolution and lightings will disappoint you. :/ I got switch version and hate it a lot.
I got it and it is a bit underwhelming but still enjoyable... Frame rate is good enough...
I agree that the graphics especially in handheld mode can be really blurry and low res. But it still runs at a decent framerate.
I need to play Diablo first before I jump on this one. These characters are too small for me. I gotta get use to it.😁

I love the Darksiders series and love ARPG's. "In my opinion" This game is sooo meh 😑. Everything about it feels lazy and half assed. Wasted potential. May the future fair us better!

Just about every darksiders game was different gameplay wise. The only thing that they fundamental share is the 3rd person camera. This game still retains the rpg mechanics just like the others.

This is by far the best darksiders game so far, and I've played all of them. Just try it, it feels amazing to play, has the best music sice nier and coop to top it off.

@@Serialfoxity Yes, i feel you brother. I luckily have a controller (which I rarely use), but platforming and especially playing as War is infuriating on KM, sadly.
It's a spin off so, nothing. It's actually really good. I've played all the games and this one is still really fun.
