UPDATE 8/24: Part 2 is now out! th-cam.com/video/6anpJAK6E9g/w-d-xo.html 😁 Guys Part 2 may probably be coming out in a few weeks - I'm still recording the calibration process. Wanted to get something out as soon as possible for you guys! This was a very long install and a pretty hard DIY to be honest. You'll see in the next video the side mirror install didn't go as planned as all but it will all come together. If you are doing this 360 view system be prepared to spend a few days of downtime taking apart the car since it gets pretty tedious. Hope you enjoy the videos so far! Cheers!
Hi thank you for the video. I've been waiting long for this one as I ordard mine last month. I really need to check out the second part. I've already installed back and front camera. Also I've installed one side camera today. Thinking why you couldn't install the camera by the mirror! I've managed to install mine. Also I'm installing ambient light in the same time.
@tanvirqurashi192 That's awesome! My glass mirrors wouldn't come off. As much as I was prying it off it wouldn't budge. I think there was some sort of adhesive on the back of mine. In the end I did managed to get installed elsewhere. It's good to hear you were successful. Is yours a corolla as well?
Interesting video. Could you please tell me can I bought rear camera with higher resolution and replace only camera I mean if I replace only camera and use default toyota wire? Thank you in advance.
If you mean just replacing the factory rear camera with an HD one? Assuming you have an Android headunit you can most likely purchase just an AHD rear camera from AliExpress however you'll still need to wire it through the dash. You cannot use the existing oem cable to my knowledge. Cheers
Can you access your factory service menu with the new ainavi? I am worried about upgrading because some functions may need to be recalibrated done by holding and taping certain buttons on the old head unit.
Most likely not through AINAVI but its good to have the old head unit around in case you need to access that menu. Its a quick plug and play so I foresee no issues. For me, its a lost cause since my old screen busted.
@@squishyhammerBut if possible, I would also be happy if you could make a separate video about the car menu settings. It would be really great if you could compare it directly with the old radio and the new one. All the videos are so good!!!! That would definitely help a lot of people to make a decision/make it clearer?!?!
@Roman-cz3ws hmm that's a fun idea, I'll probably have to make it about the new car settings since my old unit is broke and I've already forgotten what entune has to offer lol but I'll place it in the queue to think about! Cheers
Got myself a Ainavi. I got a quick question. When you turn off the engine does your screen power off immediately or only when you open the driver door? Mine just powers down immediately even before opening the driver side door.
Right here: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005282394051.html but just letting you know mine got lost in the mail so eventually I never received it so got a refund. Kind of forgot all about it actually...
For sure, there are several models included however the Corolla 3D model is not one of them (at least in my unit) but is available for download in the model settings app.... for a fee. Cheers
Any seller on AliExpress with the same kit will do. They are mostly the same product going between $40 to $55 CAD. I'll try to find the link to exactly where I bought and include it in the description box later! Cheers

This is so awesome. Your videos are top notch crystal clear and detailed. You surely gain a +1 subscriber in me
💯👍
Thanks 🥰 this is motivating! Hope to keep producing more vids like this! Cheers
Brother, as if you just posted this right as I bought mine thinking, "I'll figure it out..."
You're a life saver
😄Nice!! Hope to get the final video out for you as I still work things out myself. It's quite intensive!
Nice, I ordered one of these for my 2014 Prius, so I’ll be going through similar struggles soon. Very helpful to see each step.
I was waiting this video for awhile 😫😫💙
Got delayed 🙃 sad thing is that I'm still in recording for Part 2!
Merci, great video
Thanks for watching! 😁 Hope it helps

@@squishyhammer It's my 2019 corolla. Don't think they'll put any adhesive. I'll try to make a video when I do my left door camera.
Hey squishy you know you can tap on the kmh on the home screen and it will change to MPH
Oh wait I guess this does not apply because you are in Canada
@@sLaMz1o1 LOL yup we are KMH here up north 😁 but its cool to share that! Definitely will help others out here 👍 Thanks

Yes with engine off the unit will power down. You can operate it in accessory mode though.
Do you have the link for the front camera mount on the corolla??

Is there a way to change the car model showed on your screen, (in your case Toyota Camry) to your real model, Toyota Corolla ?

very nize, btw do you the toyota connected services? do they work if yes?
I've never used any Toyota connected services but if the interface went through the old entune unit, its highly unlikely it will work.
@@squishyhammer ok thanks thats unfortunate since i like using the app but i guess sooner or later i will get android head unit anways :)
do you have a link to the camera system?

Ainavi got the 360 cameras but it's £80 to UK it will be $108
