There are stand alone inferred lights that would work for your system. You could place them in your windows or on the back of your roof. They only come on at night for around $20 and up.
I’m curious if you have changed out your air bags on this rig? Kinda sounded like my rig driving on our horrible roads! My rig is a 2002 R4R chassis & the ride was so bad. Changed out my shocks last year & didn’t really improve much. Changed out my bags a couple weeks ago & holy cow what a difference! Noticed my compressor was running constantly & one of the bags had a small split. Wish I had done it a long time ago! Great video as always James. 😁
My wife burst out laughing when I’d said that while you’re on the roof, do an inspection. Also, it great to see you getting ever so closer to 100k subscribers. Awesome work, sir.
Your looking good James. I do appreciate maintenance as you do. You have the best of videos. Just today I and my brother from Steve's Touch where discussing how difficult filming yourself and working can be. Your standing tall and looking great my friend. All the best. Sam
Thank you James for that wonderful nighttime evaluation. You really do a thorough job. I love how you love your 2001 beaver patriot thunder, and are so impressed by it, I get totally get it. love things that are built & designed really well!! Always a pleasure to work on. 😊

The conroller for the rv/bus version should plug into the cureent cameras, I want to work on my 1999 monoco windsor but it is sitting in the shop waiting on a exhaust manifold and turbo. Previous owners did not maintain it very well.
The absolute best night-time, day time sideview live camera system I've ever seen was made for the trucking industry. And, I'm sure this will, at sometime be adopted in the high-end RV coach once the price of this new technology falls. "Mirror Eye" by Stoneridge eliminates all the "blindspot" guess work with its "clear as day" camera system in all weather conditions, day or night. *Not Sponsored or affiliated* Just a fan and investor.
Great video James I really enjoyed it thank you sir. Just wonder about something if you don't mind me saying. I had to take this sleep test for the VA . I slept over night while they monitored me and my breathing. The room was totally dark but they had a camera pointed at me. I was these light mounted from the wall pointed at me as well. I was told that the light were LED PIR light panel that allowed the doctor to record and see me while I sleep. Just wonder how this LED PIR light might add to the seeing at night with your cameras ? I will look for the model of the 360 degree system that you had found as well. I might all this to my motorhome with the led pir lights as well later myself. I really love the feature of the one you installed. Thanks for sharing with me.
Hey James, quick question. What rubber seals do the Beavers use around the main entrance? Do all the Beaver models use different rubber seals or the same one? I have a 2003 Monterey Ventura with a leaky door and is in need of replacement. Thanks.
Hi James , but your camera your screen shows a car or SUV cannot be changed to actually show the motorhome ? And did you install the under glow lights under your coach ? If so which ones? Great test !
This kit was for cars but there is one for trucks and buses that I recommend in the description. I would not recommend the one I used. The lights are just LED strips on aluminum strap.
Can a BEAVER be patriotic? yes the cameras are working very well. Can a BEAVER be patriotic? I like James he seems like a nice guy and THAT is why I feel like I should poke fun at his beautiful motorhome THE beaver patriot thunder. 😄In all my life I have never seen a BEAVER any BEAVER stand for the National Anthem I have never seen a BEAVER stand and salute the flag. 🤔🤔🤔
Wow so dumb… I have it set to show me all your videos when they come out and you mentioned the camera and I went back and see there was a new video from you about this camera and I never knew
I am being totally sincere. I think it is a waste of money. Now I have 2 rear view cameras on the back of my coach. One looks down at my toe vehicle. The other one gives me a 170° wide field of view. I don't need a front facing camera because I am looking forward. If you need all those cameras to drive that coach, you may not Need to be driving a coach. I watch your channel for a long, long time. You are very good at what you do. However, all those cameras seem to be a total waste of money and if I had to concentrate on all the camera views. I would not be a responsible driver of my coach. It would be very distracting. Just my opinion.
I think you missed some of the critical points James was sharing during both videos, this test and the prior install one. The 360 view is extremely helpful for seeing blind spots while moving the vehicle forward & backward and making sure the vehicle's corners avoid hitting anything during tight maneuvers. I have a nice scratch across a compartment door that I could have avoided had I had a spotter or one of these 360 systems to assist in backing in a tight space. As noted in the earlier released install video, this is a "budget approach" compared to the factory installed high end and often times proprietary systems installed by high end coach manufacturers that he often drives across the country. Also, the system can be used for security purposes or recording accident footage should an accident occur. This night test was to see how this budget approach performs during night conditions.
Thanks for taking the time to test this out and answer everyone’s questions!

Well done from many points of interest in safety

Thanks for the test run 👌
I am so ready to see how you address the clear coat sunburn/peeling!! 😉

Thanks 👍
Looks great to me, thank you for the follow up James. Happy trails!
Music sounds like Paul Hardcastle. Kinda dig that. 😁
Well that was a fun little road trip to see the sunset! Thanks for the video!😀👍
Glad you enjoyed it

That is a good looking Beaver.
That was awesome!! You always go above and beyond! I hope you enjoyed the sunset and ride.

Awesome video. Thanks, I'm gonna order the one you recommend.
This man puts out the BEST RV content. come for the content, stay if you have a matching forehead(notice that I'm still here).
I think the 360° camera setup would be awesome to own.
Thanks for the video.
It looks like that big caterpillar engine of yours runs warm.

If I buy the recommended system, can I pay you to install it in my '95 Beaver Marquis? I'm local to you. I have same dash stereo head unit.

What kind of headlight bulbs are you running? Mine uses late 90s Lincoln headlights and the stock bulbs are pretty dim.
Nice video. Do your air tanks have a leak? As it needs to top up after a short time off. Perhaps that's normal.
RV looks gorgeous though.
yeah, most sir systems have a leak of some sort.

Wireless and if so., How do you get the power to um?
It's wired.
Check his last video, it should answer any questions you have.
It’s good Thumbs up 👍
Since you already have the cameras if you wanted to change to a system with a bus instead of a car well that should be fairly easy to do.
Use a 3d printer to make some IR illumination that can sandwich under your side marker lights...
James, how do I contact you for a RV inspection? I live in Mesa, AZ.
I'm looking to into something similar, anyone know how to get model lvl info for Monaco's 05-08? which is which and what's the difference
James, what did you use to paint your ac covers? Thanks
Spray paint
@@AZExpert 😂 I asked for that lol.
just rustoleum auto black paint from the big box store
Well hmmmm..... my parents use to RV down in Apache Junction .... my dad loved superstition mountains
👍
Suggestion.....Just get you some inferred light bars and just mount them above each camera.....problem solved.
Is there a way to contact you about some work?
