Thank you for this video. I am just beginning to delve into textile art and like the simplicity of your demonstration. May I ask what your substrate is, do you use a stabilizer behind it and will you mount the finished piece onto anything? I apologize for all of the questions.
Hi Sandra, I use a fine firm tarlatan scrim which I sell in my Etsy shop. If you would like some, here is the link www.etsy.com/uk/listing/945746410/fine-stiff-tarlatan-scrim?click_key=478bef5ea83d82adeeec32d7c78aaefb71a98b9e%3A945746410&click_sum=403163f2&ref=shop_home_active_1&frs=1&crt=1&sts=1

Lovely!!! Do you use any metallic threads? I think that would make it extra special. 🙂 Cheers from FL
Occasionally, depending on the piece I am creating, but generally I prefer to use sew all thread.
Is it possible to just glue the textile on instead of sewing ?
Yes you can. you would need to use a strong glue to make sure they don't peel off over time
Hi Alison
What kind of fabric are you using to put the fabric on?

Hi. I have watched this, but cannot find a part two?
There isn't a part two, it was just designed to show you how to create a night sky, not the rest of the landscape I'm afraid.
What size is that please?
