Just 2 days back I had the good fortune of eating perfectly ripened Banganapalli from a friend's farm. Could not stop eating. I was reminded of the mango tree planted by my grandmother when she was a child. The huge tree yielded over 3000 Banganapalli mangoes, which was like sugar both when it was unripe as well as ripe. Many of them would fall green on the outside and yellow inside, after being pecked by squirrel and parrots. The mango I ate 2 days ago reminded me of the old tree at my grandmother's place. We would pick these perfectly ripened fruits (animals know how to pick the correct time to peck ripened fruit) and wash, cut away the pecked part and eat them. Today, watching this video, my mouth waters as I am reminded of those mangoes from heaven. Will definitely get those sweet Banganapalli and make this with Parry's jaggery!!! :)
