If you really think about it, the swap force skylanders were kind of imaginators before the 6th game actually came out. Swapping the parts first of all makes your skylander look different, so you can customize it how you'd like. The parts also customize the swap force's moveset, the bottom controlling the B attack and the top controlling the X and Y attack (For Xbox controllers).
Ah.... the swap force post game, truly a beautiful thing. I have spent so much time trying to get the best score that on the “save the eldest” level I have a 10 seconds speed run record. Not kidding, no hax, no bug, *10 seconds*
Of the games I currently have: 3. Swap Force- Best gimmick hands down, with great figures to go with it. Most post game content, and I really enjoyed the swap zones. Adding jumping was also really neat. Downside the levels are way too long, which made actually playing the game a lot less fun. Storyline is kind of meh. Didn't like the Kaos fight. Most of the NPCs are boring. 2. Spyro's Adventure- Memorable cast of characters with great figures. Fun levels, with a simple yet really engaging storyline. Fantastic Kaos fight. Great NPCs with the best hub world by far. The main downside is that without a difficulty setting most of the levels are really easy. 1. Giants- My favorite figures and character cast, with my second favorite gimmick. Some of my favorite levels in the series. The Arkeyen storyline is my personal favorite in the franchise. The battle areana added some extra post game material. The only major problems I have are the lack of Hugo and the super cramped hub world. Games I don't have: Trap Team- characters are a bit too comparable to the giants in size, but at least the weapons are cool. The levels and boss fights all look really cool and I really like the doomraiders. Gimmick is decent, but seems rushed with the elemental discrepancies and lack of a magic doomraider. Don't like that they got rid of pvp though and that elemental gates are limited to trap masters. Still definety want to get this game in the future and I think I will end up ranking it above swap force. Superchargers- I really like the new character cast of this game and I like the looks of the figures and vehicles. The storyline looks really good, and it has the best cast of NPCs in the game. Not sure how much I like the looks of the levels though. Some weird looking levels in the middle kind of pull too far away from the darker theme and the vehicle parts seem to overshadow the character parts. The Kaos fight also looks way too easy. Still thinking about getting it though even if I might end up ranking it toward the bottom. Imaginators- Everything just seems kind of meh. Levels look ok. Storyline is bad. Sensei's are boring, also too comparable to giants in size, but without any defining characteristics other than super wide bases. Swap force did the make your own skylander idea better. Playable characters shouldn't be the main NPCs. I honestly don't have any interest in getting this one.
I am a veteran Skylanders player- I’ve been playing since it came out, and got the new game for birthday or Christmas every year- but I was never able to beat the first game , because it’s so difficult!
I'm just gonna make a list based on how good I think they are. I've played them all in the last year or so. Please critique this fairly and maturely. 6. Imaginators 5. Trap Team - This is a good game. But it has some major flaws. First, a lot of the enemies are weird. Good enemies is actually really important to how fun a Skylanders game is. Also, old characters were a bit underpowered. Good bonus content with the doom challenge in addition to arenas. 4. Superchargers - Had really good combat, but too much of a focus on vehicles over the actual Skylanders. Some people like that, some people don't. But, they replaced arena mode with racing. Sky and Land races are boring, but water races are actually really fun. The combat might have been good, but a lot of the enemies weren't that good. 3. Spyro's Adventure - The og, so of course it was good. The enemies were decent, and the game was intersesting to play last year as someone who started with Giant and never got the original. 1 Swap Force or Giants - This is the best, so of course it''s debatable, why not. Both Giants and Swap Force had great enemies and bonus content with arenas. Swap Force has the better graphics, but I just think Giants edges out Swap Force personally. Slightly better enemies, better arena challenges, better level design, and just the better battle mode (Not like anyone plays that). Giant's battle mode is pretty good, but jumping makes Swap Force's battle mode unbearable at times. And I definitely have no nostalgia bias for Giants. Edit: I forgot to mention just how bad Superchargers's backwards compatibility is. A lot of characters are borderline unplayable.
My ranking: 6. Superchargers (exactly what you said) 5. Imaginators (bad name aside, the characters were cool, but it just felt so different not traditional) 4. Trap team (trap masters were awesome, core characters and minis were unnecessary, good combat) 3. Spyros adventure (magical, fun, and original. My only complaint is that it doesn’t age well) 2. Giants (Spyros adventure but better) 1. Swap force (how can you dislike this game? It does everything right!)
Here's my list 6. Imaginators 5. Superchargers 4. Spyro's adventure 3. Trap Team 2. Swap Force 1. Giants Also keep in mind that 5 and 6 are really the only ones i have problems with, the others are a lot more better and nostalgic.
Nah. Swap force hits the spot. Ooh. LOVE that game. I always have a place in my heart for that. I was old enough to understand and love it but young enough for it to be fresh every time I played it. 6. Superchargers (Don't like racing games either and also wasn't engaging. Really a dissapointing game in my opinion.) 5. Imaginators (The story was all over the place and it wasn't as good as the others but I made an army of Skylanders so not last.) 4. Giants (It was so popular at the time but I felt like Spyro's Adventure beat it but it was a bit weaker. Still pretty nostalgic about that game but doesn't compare to the others. 3. Spyro's Adventure (The first and set the bar for all games in the future and has a good amount of characters. I loved this game and got my first skylander playing this game, Bash. Picked him from a wall from all 32. Best choice. Loved that guy. 2. Trap Team (When rebuying the games after my Xbox 360 died, I bought this back after choice 2 and I thought that it was my favorite, but I was proved wrong. I love this game almost as much as number 1. 1. Swap Force. Best. Game. Ever. IT WAS MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD. All my friends and I had it and we played back and forth at each other's houses. My first taste was when I went to my friends house to play when he got it at launch. I had to wait until Christmas to get my copy and I played through 3 freaking levels of that on Christmas morning until my Parents woke up. I LOVED that game and I will never feel different about that.
Here's how I would rank the games: 1. Swap Force 2. Spyro's Adventure 3. Trap Team 4. Giants 5. Imaginators 6. Superchargers The reason I rank Giants over Imaginators is because Brock's arena battle is way better than the battle brawl like-area in Imaginators and at least Giants still has heroic challenges that boost the skylanders' stats. In Imaginators, you only get an imaginite chest for completing a side quest. Sure, you do get boosted stats on a part if you get a duplicate, but that only counts for the Imaginators and it doesn't feel as rewarding. Plus, at least Giants kept pvp in.
5: Superchargers 4: Imaginators 3: Swap Force 2: Spyro's adventure 1: Giants Trap Team is not ranked bc I never had it but I've been told that it is a great return to form
I also think you should get TT as it is a great game in my opinion but it is quite buggy and you might run into quite a lot of glitches, but within my first playthroughs back in 2015 I didn't run into any glitches :]
The only Skylander games I have nostalgia for, are Spyro's Adventure, Giants and Swap-Force. I really had no love for the other games, and didn't care about them. I had no excitement for Superchargers or Imaginators when they got announced, and still have no love for them. Skylanders golden age for me, was Giants. After having played Spyro's adventure at launch, I just wanted more, and Giants was exactly what I was looking for. Without a doubt the best Skylanders in my opinion. Swap-Force was cool, and the idea of combining characters was amazing, but after Trap Team got announced, I felt like Skylanders started to fall down. Trap Team didn't have the same feeling that the previous games did. The concept wasn't very good, and just the all-round flow of it, felt odd. When Superchargers then got announced, I had no care for it. I felt like Skylanders had fallen off. I still have so much love for Spyro's Adventure, Swap-Force and especially Giants, a lot of that love being nostalgic, but after Trap Team, I lost hope. This is of course very subjective, but most of my friends and relatives agree.
trap team was my favourite, skylanders at its peak in popularity and a toys for bob. yeah swap force was at the peak in popularity as well but im not too big on vicarious vision’s style
skylanders superchargers was 100% my favourite because the story felt so much more real than all the others. but I've never played spyros adventure or giants.
Mines going to be a little more complicated cause I'm going to include the 3DS Versions as separate games. However I'm not Including Racing, Tablet versions, an others cause I think I'll never play them, nor do I think they'll add anything substantial or new. (Could be Wrong) 10. Giants 3DS. This one was rather painful to sit through. Not only was the story and villain forgetable it having the same exact game-play and mechanics as Spyro's Adventure 3Ds without the pull made it a lackluster experience overall. There's a few moments of fun but that's all. 9. Spyro's Adventure Console. It's probably my view as an OG/Legends Spyro Fan and the miserable experience I initially had playing it (The Portal refused to stop gliching hitting the war-zone levels on my old PC) but I feel it's such an missed opportunity storyline wise to not include Spyro and his new Skylander ally's as characters in an overarching story. Admittedly the Books wind up remedying that and I admit Kaos is rather fun as an classical cheesy villain, +I actually really like Dragons Peak(Save for not fighting Vathek) and the Underworld segment. I admittedly played it more than others but it doesn't change the boring straight line story when it promised much more in it's initial Spyro Centered 'Legend Of' like trailer. 8. Imaginators: I was really hyped for this one, to the point I actually paid full price for it. I saw that the Skylander Charaters were more involved in the game and I thought I'd be getting something more along the lines of the books/comics plotwise. Instead like you said it was a way less interesting version of Academy in Video Game Form. I still say the Sensie Gameplay is good, the open-world map was an good idea, and I think I will still revisit it from time to time just to play as my own creations which wound up growing on me. If it just had an Year 2 it could've been just a little better in the long run. 7. Spyro's Adventure 3DS: It's fun, it's fast, I had a blast! I still don't like that you have to stop the game every time you want different Skylanders, but the gameplay itself is an breeze of fresh air. Hector in my opinion is the most intimditing villain in the series, you being chased by him throughout each level. It truly felt like this was desperate struggle between good and evil tension I didn't feel in the console version! Also I like the Mabu Sages. It was Nice seeing Mabu in a role of importance to the Skylands itself. However like Giants 3ds it rather fails as an handheld game. 6. Swap Force Console. I know this is your favorite game but there was something a tad off about it. It's a very pretty game indeed but somehow I didn't find it very memorable. Partially cause I think the Swap-Force ability didn't appeal to me for I felt it was a little too goofy/weird and it didn't add much. I also didn't care the mini-games for often enough they came off as annoying and repetitive. There's also no Skystones which bummed me out! But, yet Tessa's village itself is a very charming home world, and Flynn unlike other games I don't feel as mad here cause in Swap Force he's just an guy in awe of the world he's discovering instead of his usual blowhard egotistical self. And the game gave me the Mother of Kaos 'Kassandra', and I love that we get to explore that bit of Kaos's origin. I wonder though why the Puppet Lady never came back as an Doom Raider though. Weird since I thought she was an imaginative&funny boss. 5. Swap Force 3DS: For starters I love the plotline with Count Moneybones introduction. This is an game I feel is an must to fully understand the full-story of Skylanders considering his return role in Superchargers. Thanks to them smartly choosing for you to be able to just save your Skylanders into the game instead of the flawed system before I consider this the 1st successful Skylanders Handheld. 4. Trap Team Console: Like you said I love playing as the villains, and like that in each level you get that thrill of hunting down brand new playable charaters each time. Since they brought back Skystones, introduced the Academy, and gave me the best Kaos boss battle I'm more forgiving of it than you. 3. Trap Team 3DS: It's by far the best out of all the handhled games. The villians may not be playable in the same sense as the console version and it lacked the usual cinematic cut-scenes, but I adored Dream Sheep as the main antagonist and very much loved the influence/reference of the book series by having the main hub be the Eternal Archive. It may be pain to get all your Skylanders on the system but there's no Trap Master Gate lock. HURRAH! 2 Giants Console: It's weird that this is so high up here, and funny since I mostly can't stand the 3Ds version but I think this is one of the best Game Sequels. It continued the plot flawlessly, it set up a darker tone with flashbacking to the ruthless Arkyean rule at the start, we had an almost death scene via Machine Ghost, I didn't fully new were the plot was going, it was the 1st Skylanders game I really liked and at the time I loathed Spyro's Adventure! Oh, and did I mention the amazing end credits with Flynn&Chompy Mage? That was Amazing and hilarious! 1. Superchargers. I know you hate it cause of your disdain of Racing Games but since I grew playing and liking allot of racing games I didn't mind that aspect. I thought Kaos's relationship with the Darkness frankly the most compelling plot I've seen in the games, and it finally had Glumshanks stand up for himself. And I loved that! It had variety in the gameplay, It had even better arena fights than Giants, it's animation was in opinion the best in the series and again like Giants it set up higher stakes right away having Kaos already ruling Skylands actually succeeding! I think It's gravely overlooked just like with the Books&Comics witch include the finest Skylanders and Spyro story's out there. If it wasn't for those and this game I probally wouldn't be as big of an Skylander as I am now.
@@madsceptictrooper6803 It's a pretty good one, but I do enjoy Trap Team 3DS better thanks to Dream Sheep, and the references to the books. (Grateful this review wasn't an waste.)
I thought Swap Force was my favorite game in the series for a long while until I replayed it recently. I think the levels being as long as they are kill my enjoyment of the game, when I get to the end of the level I feel like I'm ready to shut the game off.
I recently just played through swap force. It’s tedious and annoying of how long the missions are and that the missions are annoying for the first half, from evil glumbshanks on, it gets good. And I have to say swapforce is still one of my favourite as it has battles and is on Xbox one (meaning I can still play it on Xbox series x when that comes out). I’ve really enjoyed trap team recently. But nostalgia wise I loved swapforce, until I played it recently and still love it, just not as much.
For me the giants is the most nostalgic game, but my rank is this 1° trap team 2°swap force 3° giants, spiros adventures 4° imaginators 5° superchargers 6° Superchargers again... It's so bad
Most to least, for me : Trap Team Swap Force Spyro’s Adventure Superchargers Giants Imaginators(I love the character creation, but the gameplay and feel is all...wrong)
Well, they just we're really huge in later games compared to the other skylanders, they didn't ruin it so much as just push it aside and make it unimportant
*2 things here I disagree with* 1. I feel like Trap Team’s characters had some of the MOST interesting and inspired designs, not the least. They all felt different and cool. Flipwreck, funny bone, deja vu, spotlight, blackout, fist bump, high five and more all we’re really cool and fun. 2. Swap Force would probably be near the bottom of my list. They only had like three returning characters to the franchise. Flynn, Kaos, and Eon. They always focus on weird new species and races instead of ones that are skylanders classics. For instance, they replaced the mabu and molekin, for weird cat people and sharks with human lips. The art style was great, but was a complete deviation from previous game styles. So much so that it felt like a spin-off that didn’t have the same magic that skylands should have. They focused on the cloud break islands instead of skylands as a whole, and that felt like a mistake. The new skylanders didn’t feel as fun or inspired as previous games. So much so, that the swapping gimmick, which was really cool, felt less enticing because I wasn’t a big fan of the skylanders I would be swapping. Furthermore, the levels felt less like I was exploring new and exciting areas of the skylands I know and love, and more like the skylanders were exploring some new world I’d never seen before. It seems like I hate swap force when you read that, since that’s all my negative stuff, but I don’t. The graphics were gorgeous, the movement styles were fun, some of the characters were quite fun like boom jet and smolderdash, and it did keep some of the basic foundations of a skylanders game that I enjoy like the portal master aspect that imaginators abandones partially, and Flynn being a fun comic relief, and lots more. Not a bad game, just near e bottom of my list.
I respect your ranking though and I get why you ranked them the way you did. Mine would be 1. Giants 2. Trap Team 3. Spyro’s 4. Superchargers 5. Swap Force 6. Imaginators
That really shows how character preferences can be so different between people, I really didn't enjoy the characters you listed as examples. I never cared to much about the side characters returning, except for in Imaginators where they made the actual Skylanders the characters. Good write up!

Yeah, I 100% agree with you about Imaginators. I also agree with you mostly about other games.
I wish you could trap noodles instead of lob goblin in nightmare express
LOL, that would've been cool
I wish the spellslamzer was the magic doom raider in a level pack
Imaginators does not have the same feeling as the other games.
I am a veteran Skylanders player- I’ve been playing since it came out, and got the new game for birthday or Christmas every year- but I was never able to beat the first game , because it’s so difficult!
Just recently, I almost beat it, but Kaos wiped out my Skylanders
I'm just gonna make a list based on how good I think they are. I've played them all in the last year or so. Please critique this fairly and maturely.
6. Imaginators
How the Superchargers backwards compatibility issues were? I'm curiouse.
Jesus Aguirre It wasn’t that good. Attacks were clunky and didn’t do good damage.
I liked Giants 3DS and Trap Team 3DS. Swap Force was really awesome too.
I love Swap Force 3DS and I did play 3DS versions of Giants and Trap Team.
Swap force is a good game I think the story made it not as memorable but it’s still a really amazing game
My ranking:
6. Superchargers (exactly what you said)
5. Imaginators (bad name aside, the characters were cool, but it just felt so different not traditional)
4. Trap team (trap masters were awesome, core characters and minis were unnecessary, good combat)
3. Spyros adventure (magical, fun, and original. My only complaint is that it doesn’t age well)
2. Giants (Spyros adventure but better)
1. Swap force (how can you dislike this game? It does everything right!)
I mostly agree with your rankings it seems, except for where you put giants, interesting
It’s ok, we can have different opinions
i remember trap team so well... it has so much nostalgia to me.
Here's my list
6. Imaginators
5. Superchargers
4. Spyro's adventure
3. Trap Team
2. Swap Force
1. Giants
Also keep in mind that 5 and 6 are really the only ones i have problems with, the others are a lot more better and nostalgic.
Can’t wait for the streams! I’ll be there!
Dang, our opinions are pretty opposite. Still doesn’t make you less cool
Mine are
6. Imaginators
5.super chargers
4. Giants
3. Spyro adventure
2. Trap team
1. Swap force.
Respect for the list
Nah. Swap force hits the spot. Ooh. LOVE that game. I always have a place in my heart for that. I was old enough to understand and love it but young enough for it to be fresh every time I played it.
6. Superchargers (Don't like racing games either and also wasn't engaging. Really a dissapointing game in my opinion.)
5. Imaginators (The story was all over the place and it wasn't as good as the others but I made an army of Skylanders so not last.)
I LOVED that game and I will never feel different about that.
giants is really cool
1°-figures 9/10
2°-gameplay 10/10

The goes to my list
1-Giants
2-Trap team
3-Imaginators
4-Swap Force
5-Superchargers
6-Spyro’s Adventure
Here's how I would rank the games:
1. Swap Force
2. Spyro's Adventure
3. Trap Team
4. Giants
5. Imaginators
6. Superchargers
The reason I rank Giants over Imaginators is because Brock's arena battle is way better than the battle brawl like-area in Imaginators and at least Giants still has heroic challenges that boost the skylanders' stats. In Imaginators, you only get an imaginite chest for completing a side quest. Sure, you do get boosted stats on a part if you get a duplicate, but that only counts for the Imaginators and it doesn't feel as rewarding. Plus, at least Giants kept pvp in.
I like this list as well and it seems like you and I have similar taste!
Where are you streaming your play throughs, Twitch?
5: Superchargers
4: Imaginators
3: Swap Force
2: Spyro's adventure
1: Giants
Trap Team is not ranked bc I never had it but I've been told that it is a great return to form
Trap team was my first game until recently when I got all the new ones :]
I also think you should get TT as it is a great game in my opinion but it is quite buggy and you might run into quite a lot of glitches, but within my first playthroughs back in 2015 I didn't run into any glitches :]
Based on nostalgia
6. Superchargers
5. Swap Force
4. Spyro’s Adventure

1. Trap team 2. Giants 3.Spyros adventure 4. Swap force 5. Imaginator’s 6. The racing one
Not the same as my list, but good list!
Portalmaster thank you
Does anyone know where the second ranking is? after he's finished playing through all the games.
Not out yet, it'll be a while.
The most nostalgic is giants had a lot good memories with that game wish I can go back
My favorite is probably Giants because it was released on my birthday and it was the first one that I played.
If some of the games get ported to the new generation of consoles e.g. Ps5, Xbox series X, there is a good chance they will make new games.
I was like2 when my dad came home with sky landers giants and I’ve always played the games
I love swap force I was started to have an interest in skylanders in swap force
skylanders superchargers was 100% my favourite because the story felt so much more real than all the others. but I've never played spyros adventure or giants.
Superchargers had a great story, but that doesn't make up for a lot of the shortcomings to me
Mines going to be a little more complicated cause I'm going to include the 3DS Versions as separate games.
However I'm not Including Racing, Tablet versions, an others cause I think I'll never play them, nor do I think they'll
add anything substantial or new. (Could be Wrong)
10. Giants 3DS. This one was rather painful to sit through. Not only was the story and villain forgetable it
having the same exact game-play and mechanics as Spyro's Adventure 3Ds without the pull
made it a lackluster experience overall. There's a few moments of fun but that's all.
9. Spyro's Adventure Console. It's probably my view as an OG/Legends Spyro Fan and the miserable experience I
initially had playing it (The Portal refused to stop gliching hitting the war-zone levels on my old PC)
but I feel it's such an missed opportunity storyline wise to not include Spyro and his new Skylander ally's
as characters in an overarching story. Admittedly the Books wind up remedying that and I admit
Kaos is rather fun as an classical cheesy villain, +I actually really like Dragons Peak(Save for not fighting
Vathek) and the Underworld segment. I admittedly played it more than others but
it doesn't change the boring straight line story when it promised much more in it's initial
Spyro Centered 'Legend Of' like trailer.
8. Imaginators: I was really hyped for this one, to the point I actually paid full price for it. I saw that the Skylander
Charaters were more involved in the game and I thought I'd be getting something more along the
lines of the books/comics plotwise. Instead like you said it was a way less interesting version of Academy
in Video Game Form. I still say the Sensie Gameplay is good, the open-world map was an good idea,
and I think I will still revisit it from time to time just to play as my own creations
which wound up growing on me.
If it just had an Year 2 it could've been just a little better in the long run.
7. Spyro's Adventure 3DS: It's fun, it's fast, I had a blast! I still don't like that you have to stop the game
every time you want different Skylanders, but the gameplay itself is an breeze of fresh air.
Hector in my opinion is the most intimditing villain in the series, you being chased by him throughout
each level. It truly felt like this was desperate struggle between good and evil
tension I didn't feel in the console version!
Also I like the Mabu Sages. It was Nice seeing Mabu in a role of importance to the
Skylands itself. However like Giants 3ds it rather fails as an handheld game.
6. Swap Force Console. I know this is your favorite game but there was something a tad off about
it. It's a very pretty game indeed but somehow I didn't find it very memorable.
Partially cause I think the Swap-Force ability didn't appeal to me for I felt it was a little too
goofy/weird and it didn't add much. I also didn't care the mini-games for often enough they came
off as annoying and repetitive. There's also no Skystones which bummed me out!
But, yet Tessa's village itself is a very charming home world, and Flynn unlike other games I
don't feel as mad here cause in Swap Force he's just an guy in awe of the
world he's discovering instead of his usual blowhard egotistical self. And the game gave
me the Mother of Kaos 'Kassandra', and I love that we
get to explore that bit of Kaos's origin.
I wonder though why the Puppet Lady never came back as an Doom Raider though.
Weird since I thought she was an imaginative&funny boss.
5. Swap Force 3DS: For starters I love the plotline with Count Moneybones introduction. This is an
game I feel is an must to fully understand the full-story of Skylanders considering
his return role in Superchargers. Thanks to them smartly choosing for you to
be able to just save your Skylanders into the game instead of the flawed system before
I consider this the 1st successful Skylanders Handheld.
4. Trap Team Console: Like you said I love playing as the villains, and like that
in each level you get that thrill of hunting down brand new playable
charaters each time. Since they brought back Skystones, introduced
the Academy, and gave me the best Kaos boss battle I'm
more forgiving of it than you.
3. Trap Team 3DS: It's by far the best out of all the handhled games. The villians may not
be playable in the same sense as the console version and it lacked the
usual cinematic cut-scenes, but I adored Dream Sheep as the main antagonist and
very much loved the influence/reference of the book series by having the
main hub be the Eternal Archive.
It may be pain to get all your Skylanders on the system but there's no
Trap Master Gate lock. HURRAH!
2 Giants Console: It's weird that this is so high up here, and funny since I mostly can't
stand the 3Ds version but I think this is one of the best Game Sequels.
It continued the plot flawlessly, it set up a darker tone with flashbacking to the ruthless
Arkyean rule at the start, we had an almost death scene via Machine Ghost,
I didn't fully new were the plot was going, it was the 1st Skylanders
game I really liked and at the time I loathed Spyro's Adventure!
Oh, and did I mention the amazing end credits with Flynn&Chompy Mage?
That was Amazing and hilarious!
1. Superchargers. I know you hate it cause of your disdain of Racing Games but since
I grew playing and liking allot of racing games I didn't mind that aspect.
I thought Kaos's relationship with the Darkness frankly the
most compelling plot I've seen in the games, and it finally had Glumshanks
stand up for himself. And I loved that!
It had variety in the gameplay, It had even better arena fights than
Giants, it's animation was in opinion the best in the series and again like
Giants it set up higher stakes right away having Kaos already
ruling Skylands actually succeeding!
I think It's gravely overlooked just like with the Books&Comics
witch include the finest Skylanders and Spyro story's
out there.
If it wasn't for those and this game I probally wouldn't be as big of
an Skylander as I am now.
Thanks for praising 3DS version of Swap Force because it's my favorite Skylanders game ever.
@@madsceptictrooper6803 It's a pretty
good one, but I do enjoy Trap Team
3DS better thanks to Dream Sheep,
and the references to the books.
(Grateful this review wasn't
an waste.)

6: imaginators
5: SSA (sorry)
4: super chargers
3: trap team
2: giants
1: swapforce
Giants was my first and favorite
Same
Giants was a great game, but not my favourite though.
I thought Swap Force was my favorite game in the series for a long while until I replayed it recently. I think the levels being as long as they are kill my enjoyment of the game, when I get to the end of the level I feel like I'm ready to shut the game off.
nostalgia always gets the best of my opinions 😂
All games nostalgic in my opinion
I recently just played through swap force. It’s tedious and annoying of how long the missions are and that the missions are annoying for the first half, from evil glumbshanks on, it gets good. And I have to say swapforce is still one of my favourite as it has battles and is on Xbox one (meaning I can still play it on Xbox series x when that comes out). I’ve really enjoyed trap team recently. But nostalgia wise I loved swapforce, until I played it recently and still love it, just not as much.
For me the giants is the most nostalgic game, but my rank is this
1° trap team
2°swap force
3° giants, spiros adventures
4° imaginators
5° superchargers
6° Superchargers again... It's so bad
Its almost like my list.
Skylanders Trap team was the first skylanders game I have ever played
I started in spyros adventure. But trap team is my favourite
The stream ur talking about, can u make it an uncut video for fans to watch??
Also I would like to know if all Skylanders had nightmare mode
To be honest, I haven't decided yet if it will be a stream or a let's play

I like trap team and imaginators because there levels aren’t as short as spyro adv and giants but there not as long as swapforce and superchargers
Supercharges wasn’t that long i can complete the full game within like 3 hours. Trap team and swap force take my like a day or 2
Man I love all of them
Keep doing the rankings

Most to least, for me :
Trap Team
Swap Force
Spyro’s Adventure
Superchargers
Giants
Imaginators(I love the character creation, but the gameplay and feel is all...wrong)
Possibly Giants more than Superchargers?
Is trap team first or imaginators?
Long live Skylanders and may it become relevant again
Swap Force for me too!!
Now I wish imaginators is a great game i mean it is
Well at least the make ur own skylander was kinda cool
3:37 what didn't make sense about it and how did they ruin it?
Well, they just we're really huge in later games compared to the other skylanders, they didn't ruin it so much as just push it aside and make it unimportant
Spyro's adventure remake in 2021??? For the 10th anniversary of Skylanders.
That's what I'm hoping for! And a remake for giants would be nice
Let's hope!
*2 things here I disagree with*
Mine would be
1. Giants
2. Trap Team
3. Spyro’s
4. Superchargers
5. Swap Force
6. Imaginators
That really shows how character preferences can be so different between people, I really didn't enjoy the characters you listed as examples. I never cared to much about the side characters returning, except for in Imaginators where they made the actual Skylanders the characters. Good write up!
Swap force is my favorite and blast zone is my favorite skylander from swap force
